Helper Applications
This is the post to apply for a helper position within Haven. A helper is a member of the mod team, though not a full moderator, and will have certain specific duties.
-> Assisting with the app processing. This means being around at least at some points during the week before each application round closes to give opinions on apps in the queue and discuss apps with the other members of the mod team.
-> One small administrative duty. Each member of the helper team has one specific administration duty they are responsible for (for example, Christy deals with hiatuses). Other than your one duty, it is unlikely you will be asked to assist in other admin tasks.
-> Infrequent event NPCs. Some events require minor NPCs, in which case the helpers will be called on to take one or two on. This is a slightly flexible part of the role, as if the event falls when a helper has exams, etc, then their absence can be worked around.
These are the following criteria that are the most important for anyone who would like to be a helper.
-> Punctuality
-> Reliability
-> Enthusiasm
-> Discretion
-> Be easily contactable for me/the others in the helper team
