Sample Entry Two: Today has been a very long day for Kougyoku. It’s one thing to be trapped in a prison with little food and water, under the constant threat of new tortures, but once everyone starts turning on each other? That is a completely different story that seems tailor –made to make everything worse and force Kougyoku to use the least polished of all her skills: negotiating with strangers.
No, there will be no crying. This is a serious situation, isn’t it? Crying right now is probably the worst thing she could do, in fact! A princess of the Kou Empire has a certain standard she must meet when talking to potential allies or enemies, and collapsing into tears is definitely not respectable for one.
Taking a deep breath, Kougyoku steels herself and steps forward. She opens her mouth, ready to say something she’s sure is stern and polite enough to get these people’s attention. Before she does, however, she hears someone in the crowd begin insulting everyone else’s mothers.
“What did you just say!? That kind of thing… That’s just…”
Well, there goes any hope for diplomacy, along with her reputation. Who wants to work with a girl who brings out such an angry voice? That’s fine, though! Kougyoku Ren is not a woman who will back down, even if… even if that kind of comment really hurts right now. It’s an arrow aimed right at her lack of confidence in her personal history.
Kougyoku Ren | Magi : The Labyrinth of Magic | Reserved | 3/3
Items/Weapons: Her metal vessel (which takes the form of a golden hairpin) and a plain Jian-style sword.

“That is just… so cruel!”
So much for not crying, after all.
