Ryou felt sick to his stomach. The worst part of this place was definitely the fact he couldn't write letters to Amane in Heaven. He couldn't just leave it at that though, she might get worried if he stopped, or what if she thought he didn't care any more? He couldn't do that.
So Ryou went throughout the apartment block, slipping quietly past groups of people with a set of makeshift toys in hand. Any questions were deflected with a sweet smile and a bow of his head to bid farewell. He walked a little faster then, because he didn't want to be bothered. The problem with this place was that there wasn't anywhere nice that he could go to, so Ryou just had to settle for the best he could find. A quiet area inside that wouldn't be destroyed, that he could lay down the gifts he'd made and send his letters to Amane in the form of a prayer.
It was a little traditional for his tastes, and he couldn't keep it with him like the letters, but it was something.
