*A rather oddly angled video feed comes onto the network, as a young looking girl appears upside down on it. There is some obvious panic in her expression as she realizes she's not holding it properly, letting out a tiny gasp before she adjusts it so she's right-side-up. Still a tad off center though.*
Um... Hello everyone! I hope I'm using this right... This place is kind of scary, isn't it? It reminds me a lot of all the ruins I used to explore back home... It's like a big, expansive village! ... or, um... it used to be one?
*Totori lets out a sheepish little laugh, not sure what to describe it as.*
Yet even if it's scary... It's amazing! *Her eyes light up suddenly, the gleam of excitement filling them.* I've never seen buildings like these! Even if they're all run down... I really want to go out there and explore them! There's bound to be all kinds of things to gather out there... I wonder if there are any ingredients? Do you think there are monsters? Uuu... There's always monsters in ruins like this...
*The tiny alchemist lets out a sigh. All that hype she was building up for herself. She looks into the phone with a bit of a pleading look now.*
If... If it's not too much trouble, could I maybe ask someone to accompany me? I... I promise I won't be a burden! I can defend myself! Just... um... I'm not that strong physically, so... If anyone is willing, could you meet me out front of... um... what did he call it... the... apairment building? I'll be waiting! Or, um... If you want something in exchange for accompanying me, we can work something out... But I'll be waiting outside either way...!
*With a small bow-- which is somewhat ruined, as she moves the whole phone as she does-- she presses a few random buttons on the phone, looking panicked before it eventually turns off.*
Sample Entry Two: (This is the sample I used for the last game I played her at, I hope it's okay to reuse it?)
Totori wouldn't cry.
There was a time where if she had been thrust into this strange place as suddenly as she had been Rapture, without anyone she knows with her... Her first reaction would be to let out a wail of grief and more than a little horror. Actually, it would more be out of loneliness than anything else.
However, that was a good 5 years ago. After everything she had experienced, everyone she met, every single thing that happened between the time she began her earnest effort to be an adventurer... Breaking down into tears would be poor form! There might be braver and tougher adventurers out there, yet Totori was definitely going to be one of those brave ones today. Even if she had arrived by falling flat on her face.
So here she was, at the Welcome Center to a strange and unusual city... A city that despite her brief time here thus far, she had figured out was underwater. Which while amazed her when she first saw it, also had her... quite worried. How does such a place even exist?! It looks like it's powered by some kind of strange alchemic devices... or machines? Machines was likely the answer, yet Totori didn't know nearly enough about those to figure a single bit of this out. Which simply left her staring in wonder at the vast city before her... The view outside from the glass was amazing. It would have taken her breath away if she wasn't already a bit out of it due to the shock of everything.
"This is a lot to take in..."
Totori found herself muttering as she watched some fish swim by the glass... Lights were flicking on and off around the city as she took it all in. She looked like a tourist who was on her first trip from the country to see the big city full of neon lights. Which wasn't entirely inaccurate, considering neon lights don't even exist where she comes from. Still, all this... It was new... Unusual... ... exciting. Even if she felt a little scared... Even if she felt alone... There were other people here in the same situation as her. That meant she wasn't really alone.
That was when Totori realized she had been smiling since she got her first look at the city proper.
"It... It's going to be like a brand new adventure...!"
If the alchemist had worries, she decided to push them aside for now. For now... it was time to explore this strange and beautiful place called Rapture.
