Abilities/Powers: Apollo is a god. As such, he has a very long list of abilities inherent to his species. Like all the gods of his world, he is immortal and eternally young. He does not need to eat or drink, though he can if he chooses to. He is physically incapable of lying out loud, though he can withhold information by not saying anything at all or changing the topic. He also has the ability to read the minds of humans, though not of other gods. This ability comes from hearing the prayers of humans, but is not limited to thoughts directed solely at the gods or wishes.
He has the ability transport himself instantly to any place he likes with just a thought, and he can carry others with him, as well, provided he kiss them first. (It’s unknown why this is needed to bring someone along, however.) With a snap of his fingers, he can also make things vanish from existence, effectively killing them. He has the ability to knock over buildings with a flick of his finger, and he can defy gravity with ease, simply floating in the air whenever he doesn’t want to touch the ground, which is often.
Because he represents the sun, Apollo has the ability to manipulate light. His specialty is creating a light so bright and hot that it incinerates its target instantly, but is controlled enough that it won’t burn anything else. He can also use it to change his appearance to look like any person he chooses, though he rarely ever does so.
Finally, he has the ability to create anything he desires, mostly is mostly weapons and jewelry, from thin air. He can just as easily dismiss them from existence, which he usually does when he bothers to create weapons for fun. He almost never uses this power, because he sees little need for material things.
Items/Weapons: Apollo doesn’t keep much, so he’ll only be arriving with his clothes and the gold jewelry he wears.
Sample Entry Two:Boring. That was the main thought running through Apollo’s head at the moment. This place, these people, were all boring. Nothing was catching his attention for even a moment. With a sigh, he placed his head in his hand, looking out over the people wandering around below the staircase he sat on the edge of, legs dangling in the air.
After some time, he finally grew bored of only watching. If something amusing wasn’t going to show itself to him, he’d just have to hunt it down. With a grin, he stepped off of the staircase, hovering in the air in front of the first stranger he saw.
“You there! Tell me something. Do you have a wish that you want granted?”
Of course, even if Apollo had the means to grant a wish, he had no desire to. But seeing people try to grasp at hope so desperately always made for a good laugh. They’d do anything for it, really, and that was what made them so amusing and pathetic, at the same time. With one hand on his hip, he offered the other out to the human, as if to seal a pact. His grin never faltered as he continued to play at being a fairy god mother, or something along those lines.
“If you make a pact with me and can complete the task I give you, I will grant it for you! What do you say to that?”
