If anything, it made him feel worse. This wasn't what C-ta was used to. He had tried so hard to return to the normal life that he was so used to and ended up in a whole new place. Just. His. Luck]
I'm not stuck in some post-apocalyptic movie am I?

C-ta's arrival to the desolate town had been both a blessing and a curse for him. The idea of being in a new place didn't frighten him, but the realization that he was alone, did. His friend was nowhere near him anymore-for the first time in years A-ya wasn't even near him.
'Not that it matters anyways' C-ta thinks to himself with a wry grin. He doubted that the dead would come to life anyways. The world that he had known was long gone and it wasn't because he had arrived to some weird place.
He glanced at the cellphone- the one that the city had given him. What he would do in this place, C-ta didn't know. He had almost died himself and the idea of returning to a world without his best friend was too much to bear. As much as he hated the idea of having to start over, maybe this time it was a good thing. Maybe this city would let him start over from zero.
