final!

Sample Entry: [An unusually calm voice is heard, and the woman on the other end of the phone doesn't sound the least bit impressed by the events that seem to have been dropped onto her head. Hey, Ruby wasn't about to bitch, the last thing she remembered was being stabbed with her own knife. Honestly, this is probably the least violent way she has been woken up in centuries. Confusion about the situation aside? It's awesome.

She isn't dead anymore.]

So I've had some weird things happen in my long life, and while this doesn't take the cake, it definitely has left me with some important questions. First of all, where am I? Second, is a Sam Winchester around here?

And thirdly, the most important question. Where can a bitch get some french fries?

Sample Entry Two: Waking up to the buzz of the alarm clock was shocking, but not in a bad way at all. In fact, if Ruby's heart were her own, it would have been racing in pure excitement and happiness. She woke up. It wasn't supposed to happen, ever again. More than once Ruby had been in situations like this, having been in a body and then been exorcized out of it only to wake up on the torture rack in hell. But this time was different. She was in a room, with other beds for what she guessed was other occupants like herself, no Alastair or any other higher ups to torture her.

Ruby was grinning as she sat up, and she didn't even realize it. Seriously, was it like Christmas or something? No one in their right mind would have made a deal to bring her back from non-existence, unless...it was Lucifer himself. Rewarding her for her entire life's work to help him rise again.

But that didn't make a whole lot of sense, even if it was a nice thought. Lucifer wanted the end to come, wanted to ruin God's creation of disgusting, ungrateful men and women. Ruby wouldn't be needed any longer, even despite what she had done for him. That thought had her smile fading a little bit as she looked down at her own torso. Her hands moved down to tug the bottom of her shirt up, just enough to reveal the thick scar in the center of her abdomen. The fatal wound she had taken. So it hadn't been some dream, it had definitely been real. That knocked out the possibility of any supernatural forces messing with her mind at least.

Which meant that it was something else with power that had done this. Ruby swung her legs off the side of the bed quickly so she could get up, and look outside of the window. The billboard there told her that she was in Haven, the place where 'everyone was safe together'. It made her laugh, because whatever; or whoever, had brought her here had no idea at what an unsafe demon she actually was.

But pretending could be fun, at the very least. Until she could find her way out, anyway. Ruby turned to head out of the room, determined to find someone else who may have more answers than she did. Someone was bound to know something, and if Ruby was good at anything in her life, it was pretending to be something she wasn't so she could benefit from it.
