Kanen'tó:kon, since his adolecent years, has been a young man of caution. He's reserved, careful of things, and many times questions said things for the sake of safety-- and perhaps insecurity. To shed more light on this characteristic, we have his strong friendship with Ratonhnhaké:ton, protagonist assassin in AC3. Kanen'tó:kon was not the best hunter, nor did he know how to climb trees as his friend did when they were younger. Rather, he hadn't the slightest idea where to start, and would always damper his own potential.
Above all of this, he was on the chubby side during those years, further instigating his insecurety with himself, his own skills and potential-- of which, "Connor" ( Ratonhnhaké:ton's adopted name ) would frequently encourage him to have faith in himself,to challenge himself. That is to say, at times, Kanen held some rather true points when he voiced his concerns ( if you're cliimbing a large, inclined cliff, of course there's a chance you could fall and die ). Connor was more a troublemaker, a challenge seeker, you see-- while on the other hand, Kanen was the voice of reason by saying "I don't think this is a good idea" or "I don't know about this". He would be the one to steer the two from trouble-- most trouble. But, if Kanen'tó:kon were to mistep, to take a tumble during their misadventures, his friend was also always there to help him back up. One hand washed the other.
Not the most graceful, Kanen'tó:kon slipped and fell into a river when he was learning to freerun, hanging by a log and unable to pull himself up without aid. When he hunted alone for the first time-- he was found and chased by a bear. None of these, clearly, were his fault-- but if it didn't make him seem like a clumsy person! Despite this, Kanen is shown to easily pick up things being taught to him. His memory is fit for learning quickly ( plus, he had a good teacher to speed the process! ) Now at 22 years old rather than 15-- most of his insecurities have dimininished-- yet that does not mean they are too long gone. He still remains ever careful, leaning more to a timid side rather than outgoing.
Another thing Kanen'tó:kon has is devotion. Loyalty. All to the people of his village; his family, and his home earn a high and special place on his list of priorities. He will go to towering heights to see their safety, and shows great concern when things just aren't right. If he must fight, he will fight as a fierce warrior, to death if he must, and will not stop until the threat is eliminated. The Mohawk does everything in his ability to take care of oppossing tasks, yet, when a solution is farther from his reach, he tends to seek help as soon as possible, knowing when he could handle things and when he can't.
Kanen'tó:kon is a kind heart, treating those with respect, and his friends with an even higher regard. Once gained, this man is a companion that shows care, amiability, and watches out for them just as he does with his very people. They become brothers, sisters-- and could very well be for a life time. While bonds are strong, they are also fragil. His trust is cherished, and held very high though, so much so that just as it could form, it could shatter. If something, anything, gives him enough reason to feel betrayed, that trust is easily parted in two, with little to no chance of returning to a relationship it once was. We could say that Kanen is a "one strike, you're out" man.
Abilities/Powers: Kanen is a normal human being, so no supernatural powers! Any acknowledgable abilities he posses include hunting, climbing trees, freerunning, and weapon handling, such as weilding a knife and fighting.
Items/Weapons: bow + arrows, a knife, and a small sack for carrying things.
