Activity Check goes up on the first of every month, where players must then provide their own activity.

Activity can be either of the following:

One post or log AND a thread of five comments or more.
OR
Three threads totalling thirty comments or more.

As clarification, this means a post/log and five comments made by your character, or thirty comments made by your character over three threads. This can be split up in differing amounts; for example: three threads (10+10+10), or three threads (15+5+10).

IC inboxes on character journals are not mandatory for the game, and links from those do not count towards AC. All characters newly accepted to the game that month will be automatically exempt from the Activity Check. A hiatus of two weeks will reduce the requirement by half to one post OR two threads of fifteen or more comments. Players on hiatus for the whole month are exempt from activity check.

All comments, posts, and logs must be from the AC period itself. Basically, if it's for January's AC, then everything with a January timestamp is admissible. For threads that start in January and spill into February, only the January parts count. And for threads started in December that are backtagged through January, any comments with a January timestamp can be used to pass AC.

Warned List

Failure to comment to the AC post or provide sufficient AC will mean your character being placed on the warned list. All posts and threads, both for the main AC and the warned list must be from the AC period.

Players on the warned list will be able to provide further threads (beyond the count of three) to bring their comment total up to the required thirty. This means if you have thirty comments over five threads (for example) you may provide them on the warned list and receive a pass. If a player was unable to make a hiatus comment due to extreme extenuating circumstances (such as a serious illness, family emergency, etc), the mod will deal with it on a case by case basis.

However, being on the warned list two months in a row will result in a warning being given. After three warnings, you will be removed from the game.

Failure to comment to the AC or to provide sufficient activity will result in being removed from the game. You are free to re-apply for an ejected character; but to be fair to other applicants, you must wait a month before doing so.
