o Superhuman strength: Loki possesses superhuman strength, surpassing that of the average Asgardian male. He can potentially lift up to 50 tons. o Superhuman durability: Loki’s ability to withstand wear, pressure, and damage, far exceeds normal human capabilities. He also has a heightened resistance to the elements, particularly the cold. o Superhuman stamina: He possesses superhuman levels of stamina due to his Frost Giant heritage and metabolism. o Longevity: Loki, like all other Asgardians, ages at a far slower rate than human beings enabling him to live for thousands of years. He is not immune to aging, or even death, it just comes much slower for him and his people. o Healing factor: While Loki has superhuman durability he can be injured, but he can recover from his injuries at an accelerated rate. He can even reattach limbs if necessary. o All-tongue: enables those who hear the Asgardia language to hear it in their own language. o Hacking skills: Since Loki has become acquainted with, and fascinated with, modern technology; he has learned to hack it. He’s even hacked into SHIELD databases. o Lip reading: He can read lips. o Combat skills: He can hold his own in a fight, as an Asgardian inhabitant he was taught the nuances of battle, and while he might be prone to using magic he can wield a weapon. He’s shown fighting Sigurd quite expertly with a sword while balancing on a clothes line. o Intelligent: He has genius level intellect, a quick study, able to learn new concepts in a single night as a child, as an adult it takes even less time. When it comes to the arcane he is basically a veritable encyclopedia.
→ Magical: When it comes to magic, this version of Loki is reluctant to overuse this ability due to the fact that he is concerned about reverting back to his old self.
o Illusions: Loki is a master of illusions, able to fool the senses or plant false ideas into the minds of others in a variety of ways.
• Glamour: it’s a sub form of illusion that he officially titles glamour in which he can make things appear like something like. In Young Avengers he made Taxi cards look like I.D. cards so that he and the other Young Avengers could get into a club and so that he could drink wine. Apparently his illusion was able to convince the people at the club that he had a growth defect.
o Shape-shifting: Loki has been shown to take on a variety of forms, stating in Agent of Asgard that he can turn himself into anything as long as it’s him. In AoA he’s taken the form of a woman and he’s also taken the form of an anthropomorphic fox. o Sorcery: While in YA and AoA Loki doesn’t rely on heavy use of sorcery he is capable of using it to varying and multiple purposes. Supplementing his physical abilities, summoning, moving objects, teleporting, steeping objects with magical properties for as long as he maintains the spell, and much more.
→ Gram:
o Can pierce lies with truth magic. o It can force possessed corruption out of individuals such as when Thor was possessed by the evil malice of Loki’s former self. o Because the sword is a sword of truth the amount of pain and damage is equivalent to the lie being told. o If an individual is under telepathic influence the sword can free them as the influence is untrue. o It can also act as a normal sword and can deal damage thus.
