Kozmotis shouted as he awoke, bolting upright as his hands clawed at the air, reaching for something…or someone that wasn't there. He fought to get his breathing back under control from the surge of panic as he scanned the tent. Everything was as it was supposed to be, and he heaved a sigh and let his head fall to his chest. He and the rest of the men and women here needed the relief that time at home would bring, and it would give them all a chance to deal with the loss of those who'd been taken.
