APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN!
The next processing date is Friday 11th October

IMPORTANT: PLEASE POST YOUR APPLICATIONS HERE ON THE NEW APPLICATION PAGE

We're so glad you're thinking of joining us in Haven, where we are all safe.

In order to apply for a canon character, please fill out the information below and post it in a comment in this entry. For an OC, please apply using the OC information. Please do not link to applications, all applications must be posted here. Please do not delete your applications; if you do not want it to be seen, you can request for it to be screened after a decision is made.

You may apply for two characters every two weeks, to a total of six characters. Only two of these may be from the same canon, and they cannot be too familiar with one another. Please make sure to mark the header of your comment(s) with RESERVED or NOT RESERVED, as well as the character name and canon. App challenges are not allowed currently.

Try to remember spelling and grammar are important, and in app length quality and not quantity is what matters. If you wish to request a specific apartment, please do so in the relevant part of the application. All parts of the application must be your own work, plagiarism will not be tolerated, though you are welcome to reuse your own old applications.

If you are asked for revisions, please don't panic! It doesn't mean the mods don't like you, only that we probably need more information before making a decision. If you are asked for revisions, you will have one week to supply them.

Every attempt will be made to place a character in their chosen apartments, though this may not always be possible depending on the slots available.

Applications are open constantly, but are only processed every other Friday at 7PM EST. The Saturday following acceptance, an IC mingle log will be posted for characters to be introduced to the game.

We now have a test drive community at [community profile] haventest which is continuously open. Posts there may be used in lieu of a sample in the application. Background/History: The farthest back we see of Badou’s past is when he’s around his early teens. He lived with his older brother, Dave, and their parents are assumed to be out of the picture. Dave worked as a freelance journalist and Badou often tagged along on his information gathering missions and helped him out of tight spots. In the aftermath of a particularly dangerous scoop a group of strange soldiers tracked down the brothers and killed Dave and left Badou seriously wounded. Hence the eye patch and scar on his right hand. From the flashbacks we learned that Badou picked up smoking from his brother as well as his career of choice.

Fast-forward seven years and Badou is living alone and supporting himself with two jobs-his journalism and working part time at a shop. He’s colleagues with a girl named Mimi who’s always mocking Badou for getting into trouble. He was introduced to his partner Heine by a priest in an underground church named Bishop. They are often hired for certain jobs by Miss Liza, the leader of a community for genetically manipulated people who are born with things like animal features, angel wings, etc. They made their base at Bishop’s church.

One day Badou is working a marriage infidelity case, which translates to him being harnessed to the side of a hotel building as he takes pictures of the cheating spouse. The harness breaks as he tries to make a grab for a cat that’s wandering by that has a reward on its head if returned to its owner, and he ends up hanging around outside a window a few floors below the one he was at. But as luck would have it he ends up being audience to the secret S&M activities of one of the city’s most powerful dons. (Basically like a high ranking mafia guy). So of course he takes a picture….and ends up running for his life away from the don’s men. Eventually they corner him, but just before they can really rough him up, a man arrives and saves him on accident.

Then Badou and the man, Mihai go to the café Buon Viaggio, where Mihai works so Badou can take a bath and get a change of clothes. Later on, the don and his men track then down at the café and open fire on the building. The don, Domino Bordoni, demands the return of the “top-secret” file that was supposedly taken from them. Right around that time Badou discovers that his camera had been shot to pieces, leaving them with nothing to bargain with. He’s also been without a cigarette for a while and finally takes one off of one of the don’s fallen men. But just as he’s about to light it, a gunshot goes off, blowing through the middle of his cigarette. Badou pretty much loses his mind at this point and shoots up the don’s men. When he finally makes it to the don he asks him with he has a cigarette and the don gives him one. Afterwards Badou is forced to repair the damage done to the café.

A few days later Badou goes to the church to find Heine right in time to witness his partner show up, clothes riddled with bullet holes. Heine changes clothes and then drags Badou out of the church. Heine gives him guns and takes away his cigarettes so Badou can shoot up the place and act as a distraction while Heine goes in a saves a girl named Nill. All goes to plan and Heine leaves Badou behind to deal with the mess.

Eventually Heine and Badou get involved with a mysterious girl, Naoto, who follows them to Miss Liza’s place one day. After finding out Naoto’s reasons for seeking them out, Liza hires Badou to uncover information on the secret underground facility Heine is connected to. One day he receives a note inviting him to an orchestra performance along with two tickets. The conductor turns out to be a man nicknamed “Herbst” who was responsible for Dave’s death and Badou’s eye and the scar on his right hand and also has a history with the underground facility.

They engage in a gun fight until Mihai, another acquaintance of Badou’s, shows up behind Herbst and holds him at gunpoint. Unfortunately Herbst has the ability to hypnotize people and he used this on Mihai to get him to shoot Badou. Soon after, Herbst leaves them to be blown up by the bombs he set up in the building beforehand. They manage to escape in time and end up sharing a room in the hospital. During the time Badou and Mihai are fighting Herbst; the organization that created Heine releases a second attack on the Underground, leaving it blocked off from the upper level town.

Heine, Naoto, Nill and the others are all stuck down there so Badou and Mihai leave the hospital early, despite their doctor’s protests, and take a passageway-that’s really more like a long stairway-down to the Underground. But they are intercepted by some of the organization’s soldiers. In a last ditch effort to lose them, Mihai throws Badou and himself into the water system that flows besides the stairway. When they finally get out of the water they’ve made it to the Underground in time to see some former enemies plotting how to take Heine out. Mihai and Badou beat them up and head for Bishop’s church.

When they finally reach the church, Badou is just in time to stop a possessed Naoto from killing Heine. Soon after, Miss Liza arrives with her men and tries to kill Bishop after discovering what had been done to their kidnapped children (they were experimented on and made into the soldiers) because he had known all along. Heine offers to either take Bishop’s place or to be left alive to kill the woman responsible for it all.

Later, Badou tries questioning Heine about his plans, but gets interrupted by the same group of enemies he beat up earlier, as they hit Heine with their car. Of course, Heine gets up and shoots at them and that’s the end of that. The Heine’s brother Giovanni shows up, saying that he’s put some distance between the organization and himself and offers to show them the way inside it. But Heine notices that something isn’t right and it turns out that Herbst is the one controlling Giovanni’s body. Reluctantly they follow him, but are stopped by the appearance of two other children like Heine and Giovanni, the twins Luki and Noki.

Personality: Badou is a mess of contradictions. He says he doesn’t like nosing around in people’s pasts, and yet part of his job as an information broker is to know all he can about his city and the people in it. He tells Naoto that it’s a bad idea to investigating the Underground because she could end up like him, and seems to have no interest in picking up his brother’s old work, but then turns around and begins investigating it because Miss Liza tells him to without so much as a protest. Many times he’s stated that he won’t get involved only to end up right in the thick of things. An important thing to keep in mind about Badou is that his words and his actions do not always match up.

At a glance, Badou is loud-mouthed, cowardly, and incapable of staying out of trouble. The sad part is that the trouble is using the one finding him instead of the other way around. That probably makes him extremely unlucky as well. However, despite how incompetent he may seem, and the number of times he’s been held hostage and needed Heine to save him, Badou is quite capable of looking after himself when it counts. When it was only him and his brother, Badou was the one who had to do chores, cook, and look after things while his brother worked his cases. These skills ensured that he could look after himself once his brother was killed.

Badou in some ways resembles a cockroach as he’s always finding a way to stay alive, even during the times where he needs a helping hand. He can be extremely quick thinking as shown numerous times. Heine once left him strapped to a desk chair with his hands tied around his back, yet he managed to get two guns in hand and shot all the guards who came after him by spinning around in the chair and shooting. It’s very rare for Badou to be the one initiating violence (while he has his nicotine fix anyways) but once it’s directed towards him, he’s not above paying it back in full when he has to. But he’d rather avoid violent conflicts altogether because, yes, he can be very cowardly sometimes. Like the time a car full of mafia guys was chasing him and he hide behind Nill while Heine and Naoto took care of it.

Socially, Badou is a pretty open guy. If you ignore the fact that he rarely talks about his past, and when he does it’s usually to make some kind of grim point. But aside from that he’s pretty much what you see is what you get. He’s open about his thoughts and speaks his mind freely. However he tends to be pretty blunt depending on whom he’s talking to. He has tact though, and is capable of being professional when the situation calls for it. He doesn’t really have many people he’d consider friends. In fact the two people who could fall in that category, Mimi and Heine, are also the two people he’d definitely never admit to being close to. This could just be his way of making sure enemies don’t find his weak spot. If he pretends he doesn’t care about them as anything more than colleagues than no one can use them against him.

In general, Badou isn’t a very altruistic person. He’s not out to be a hero or make the world a better place. He’s pretty much come to terms with the fact that the world isn’t perfect, and can be a pretty terrible place. Basically he figures that everyone has their own baggage to haul around. This doesn’t mean he’s not sympathetic. He’s done a number of cases for Liza that involve rescuing genetically mutated children that have been kidnapped to be sold off to prostitution and the like. He didn’t accept them necessarily because it’s the right thing to do-a job is a job-but it’s the kind of job he really doesn’t mind doing despite his complaining. He may not be a hero but he can at least take out some of the world’s trash.

His relationship with his brother is complicated and somewhat traumatic for him. In ways he idolized his brother when he was younger and tried to be like him, which is how he picked up smoking in the first place. But after his brother’s death he got used to brushing everything off under the excuse of his brother being an idiot that didn’t know when to quit. On many occasions he’s said that he’s not planning to die like his brother did, by getting into something so deep you can’t get out of. That’s yet another contradiction. For someone who doesn’t want to end up like his brother, he sure seems to be following the same path as his brother did.

Now, possibly the strangest relationship Badou has is the one between him and nicotine. As long as he has a steady stream of nicotine in his system he’s is regular cowardly, troublesome self. But once it begins to wear off Badou becomes extremely irritable and trigger happy. It’s like watching someone completely lose their mind in under a minute. Suddenly he’ll be crazed and violent, shooting at anyone who comes at him. It’s important to note that he’s still himself during these times. He’s completely aware of everything. He doesn’t just start shooting everyone alike, friend or foe. This state will only last until he gets his next nicotine fix. It hasn’t been explained why this happens, it just does.

Abilities/Powers: Badou is a regular human, so he doesn’t have any special abilities/powers. He is, however, a fairly decent marksman. And he has enough fighting ability to take care of himself during a brawl. He also has severe nicotine fits when he hasn’t had a cigarette in a while, and that plus a stressful, life-threatening situation, sends him over the deep end and causes him to start shooting up his enemies. He can also sew.

Items/Weapons: One pack of cigarettes, and two Ingram MAC Model 10 guns.

Sample Entry: [Badou isn’t what you’d call technologically impaired or anything, so figuring out how to use the phone after a few tries wasn’t too difficult. The spiel he’d gotten from his new roommates had been beyond crazy, but after the week Badou has had he’s about ready to believe anything.

He can almost feel his place pulling at his investigative instincts, what little he may have. But he can’t help but feel that looking for answers might be more trouble than it’s worth. Besides he has an unrelated question that he needs an answer to even more.]

Now, I know everyone is probably busy playing the ‘fill the new people in’ game, so I’ll try not to take up too much of your time.

[He pulls a pack of cigarettes out of his pocket and slides one out, putting the end between his lips.] Anyone got a light?

Sample Entry Two: It was supposed to be a routine job. Stake the place out, snap some pictures, maybe throw in a little recon and figure out where all the entrances and exits are in case his partner decides to blow the plan and run in guns blazing before Badou gets actual proof of foul play. All in all it was a week’s worth of work that would pay the month’s rent. Badou wasn’t about to complain. It was around day two of his stake out that it happened.

After an hour of nothing of note happening, Badou decided it wouldn’t hurt to leave his hiding spot to take a quick piss in the bushes a few feet away. It wasn’t a far distance to go, and he’d have the cover of the trees. But when you have luck as bad as Badou’s, you should never expect anything to be easy. When he finally made it to the bushes, someone had already gotten there first. A group of someones actually. Each of them dressed in an identical black cape and kneeling on the grass.

“The hell…?” Did he just stumble across some weird, hippy cult praying to the trees or something? Heads snapped up one by one. Clearly he must have spoken louder than he thought. Badou stepped back, holding his hands up in the universal sign for surrender. “Sorry, must have taken a wrong turn on the way to the john. Didn’t mean to disturb you…” He spotted two bulked out guys pulling guns out of their robes and immediately turned and ran. Gun shots go off behind him. “I thought hippy, nature freaks where supposed to be non-violent!” A shot nearly missed him, grazing his cheek.

“Goddammit, Heine! If I die I’ll come back and haunt you!”

Character Name: Anna (Milton)
Canon: Supernatural
Canon Point: Season 4, Episode 20, “The Rapture”, after she leaves Dean and Sam in the Impala on their own.
Background/History: at supernatural wiki [dot] com ;; at supernatural [dot] wikia
Personality:
Pre-Truth/Human Existence – Anna, on the surface, is a very wholesome and sweet person. She was raised by a church deacon, in a very religious family. She possesses innocence, having an almost naïve air about her when she's first introduced, before she remembers her past as an angel. She's frightened by the notion that demons are after her, and she doesn't entirely understand why she can overhear angels. She seems to have led a very happy and quiet, albeit sheltered, life in her human form. Some might even describe her as wide-eyed when she's first presented.

Before she remembers who she is, she seems to be very easily frightened. She can see and hear things that other people can't, and until Sam and Dean Winchester came onto the scene, she'd been dismissed as schizophrenic because of it. Seeing the two brothers fills her with hope, and being told that she isn't crazy brings her more hope still. She trusts them instantaneously, though she seems to be a bit tentative about Sam, simply because the angels she's been overhearing don't like him very much. Being able to hear angels speaking in whispers is something she very much believes in, instead of dismissing it as some form of insanity. Her religiousness gives her much more reason to invest herself into believing what she hears to be true. When she has confirmation of that, she's vastly grateful, and it shows.

The unfortunate thing about her innocence is that she's easily frightened. She's a liability, during the time that this is still occurring. She doesn't remember anything about her past at that point; it's been blocked out, shoved to the back of her mind, and buried deeper than anyone can remember. She remembers things in blips; things she shouldn't even know – such as an angelic banishing symbol. She seems to be very smart, despite her innocence. However, it isn't until Pamela Barnes is called in, a psychic friend to the Winchesters, that Anna finally comes into who she was meant to be, and who she's always been.

Post-Truth – Her personality takes a huge turn once she remembers that she is an angel. With her full past in her mind, and knowing everything about herself anew, she changes drastically. She still retains quite a bit of who she was as a human, but it's much more subtle and largely overshadowed by a renewed sense of power and purpose.

Innocence – Or a complete lack thereof. That innocent, wholesome exterior that she had when she was human almost completely disappears. She's sort of… the anti-innocent. She's a fallen angel; she disobeyed. That's the murder one of angels, and it shows how much she's willing to give up for her own beliefs. It also shows her willingness to deviate from what would be considered appropriate or "okay". She's indulgent into things that angels are condemned for even considering, emotions and decadence being the worst. At one point, she explains that these aspects of humanity – that all aspects of humanity – were what she fell for. She fell by making choices and taking things into her own hands. She chose to leave holiness and purity.

Compassion – Anna has a great deal of empathy for human beings. She also knows what it's like to suffer through doubt and confusion, and being expected to take everything on faith. She gets that there are emotions ranging from manic happiness to the complete and utter rock-bottom of depression, and she understands them all. She can relate better to humans than most angels because of the fact that she chose to fall, that she has her doubts… And she wants to see humanity happy. She gave up her rank, her title, and her place in Heaven just to experience a life of freedom as humans do. She feels that she should help them, especially those that she comes in contact with. The Winchesters are a prime example. Once she discovers the truth about herself, she's determined to help them – to the point of fighting to get her Grace back, as a matter of fact. She takes risks to assist and protect them. Even as she faces her own persecution (and likely, death), she assures Dean that she understands, and that she forgives him.

Determination – What she believes is worth fighting for is not something she will easily give up. Be that free will, her own personal well being, or the well being of friends, Anna is not a weak person. She is headstrong, and she stands up for what she believes is right. She even goes so far as attempting to bring Castiel, her former subordinate, into joining her. She believes that he has strength, and that together, they would be able to handle things and help to change the world for the better. Her interests aren’t only in her own protection, but also in that of humanity. She does have the interest of keeping the world safe at the forefront of her mind.

Independence/Strength – (also ties into determination) – This pushes the lines of rebellion. Anna used to be a loyal little soldier, but once she began to doubt? That all changed. She was high ranking, but there were still those above her. She rejected her orders, she chose to fall. Even in the face of death, even when she's between a rock and a hard place, she stands strong. She isn't afraid anymore. She's ready to do what she has to, in order to keep consistent with her own personal feelings and values. If that means self-sacrifice, so be it. If that means that she alone would have to stand against both the armies of heaven and hell, regardless of how that might end, so be it. She refuses to be told what to do, pushed around, or used as a pawn any longer.

Hopefulness – Despite the fact that she's been through so much, from being a loyal puppet to the garrison to falling to just living as a human, she still has a great deal of hope within her. She knows that the world can change for the better. She has faith in humanity. In spite of everything she's been through, she's still very optimistic about the way the world works currently, and how it can work if it's further improved upon. Even with the number of trials and tribulations she's experienced, with all of the loss that came with her choices and her own doubt, she is still filled with hope and faith that all things can be improved upon; she believes that free will and peace can be preserved, if only those key players would work together.

Abilities/Powers:
Anna possesses all of the abilities that any Angel would possess. This includes – Telekinesis, seeing the true faces of demons, precognition, sensing other angels, hearing the true voices of angels, knowledge of magic both human and Enochian, enhanced strength, extreme endurance, telepathy, teleportation (which is actually considered flight, as they use their wings and a fluttering of feathers is heard upon their entrances and exits), time travel (though this is incredibly difficult and taxing despite being endowed with divinity), exorcism, and angelic possession.

I would like to note that if any of these powers are too extreme or if at any point this gets to be an issue (I make a very conscious effort not to godmod with her abilities but she's a walking talking godmod by description and design, and I can understand how that might make people uncomfortable even if it never comes into play fully) that I would be more than happy to reduce her powers.

for reference, this is what the supernatural wikia has listed for her powers

additional physical strengths
In addition to angelic abilities, because of the fact that she has thousands of years of memories behind her of wars, protecting the world, watching it go by, being an obedient soldier, and all of the things that come with being an angel, she's a very good fighter. She's also mobile! She's thin and can bend well so she's good at… hiding…? I think that about covers it.

supplement – emotional/mental strengths: A great deal of this was covered in her personality section, but in addition… She's also very knowledgeable about what's going on around her. She's a quick learner, picking up on things fast, and very insightful. She's empathetic in that she can also pick up on people's attitudes and emotions. She can tell when a situation is uncomfortable and it's not hard for her to see through people's lying just because of her general intuition.

Weaknesses: (supplemental section)
physical weaknesses; Because she's an angel, she can be physically harmed by holy fire and killed by the sword of another angel. Other than that, she's relatively immune to… everything else. (At a later canon point than chosen, she's seen being stabbed directly through the chest with a crowbar and pulling it out like it's nothing.) A circle of holy oil set aflame will trap her, and Enochian banishing sigils will work against her. She's not really pervious to much else when at full power/grace.

emotional/mental weaknesses; Anna's biggest weakness is, perhaps, the fact that she is emotionally attached to humanity. It's partially a strength, but a large part of her is so loving of them that she takes risks for them that she wouldn't normally take. She risks herself hugely while she's on the run from Heaven and in hiding, to come out of said hiding for the sake of finding and helping Dean (and Sam, but really… her attachment is to Dean.) She even exposes herself to Castiel to help Dean. Her attachment to him particularly is important, but she has a soft spot for humanity in general. She also seems to be a little more forgiving than most people deserve; then again, that applies… only to Dean based on what is seen in canon. I imagine that she's similarly forgiving of other human faults even if she isn't of the faults of other angels.

She also has a huge propensity to put herself out there in a risky fashion to get someone else to see her point of view. In a later canon point than what I've chosen for her, it's actually exposing herself to try and express to Castiel how wrong what he's done is, and how detrimental the outcome of what he's done will be to the world, that gets her captured by Heaven. She's trying to get him to see that following Heaven's orders isn't always in the entire world's best interest, and she's been trying to get him to see things her way since she got her grace back. She's very insistent that humanity is the most important thing to protect. Outside and above the orders of Heaven, protecting the humans she's loved and been in awe of for years is important to her and she feels that others should understand and embrace this as well.

Items/Weapons: All she'll have are the clothes on her back.

Sample Entry: boom haventest feels galore

Sample Entry Two:
There wasn't much difference now, from when she'd first begun to doubt Heaven and its intentions. All she'd regained was her memory – truth about a past that she'd left behind by choice. She wasn't sure whether or not it was a good thing yet. On one hand, she now possessed the knowledge and power to attempt gaining allies who would listen to her side of things regarding the current hierarchy. On the other, she sacrificed the illusion of a normal, human life – one that was given to her by rebirth, and afforded her a carefree set of liberties that she'd never had as an angel loyal to Heaven. She'd fallen by choice. She wanted the freedom that she'd seen the human race partaking in for the two millennia she'd been stationed on Earth.

Those who she'd considered friends were now out of her reach, and Castiel refused each extension of her hand. It hurt her, and it was disheartening. He refused to believe that perhaps God wasn't the one calling the shots anymore, when she'd suggested it. He refused her help. What Anna failed to understand, however, was that she had still gone back. She smote Uriel where he stood, to save Castiel's life. Her loyalties remained solid, despite being turned down time and time again. But was it all really worth it? Was attempting to save him, and the Winchesters, worth the constant chase? Heaven wanted her, Hell wanted her… She could protect herself from one, but she could only run from the others. Hide. She appeared only when she felt it necessary.

But what was the point? If they had intention to kill her, they would've sent someone to do so already. She feared for what plans they might have in mind. There were only so many possibilities, and none of them were pleasant. Anna's eyes lifted upward, and she scanned the skies. She wondered if her Father was truly as angry with her as her subconscious had led her to believe as a young human child. She remembered the initial fear when she'd first been born as a human. It was clearer now that she had the full scope of her lives – now at a technical count of three – firmly planted in her mind like little films. A part of her longed for the simplicity and ignorance that came with just being a normal, clueless girl; a sweet girl, raised by a church deacon and a housewife.

She'd been blindly religious and faithful as a human. She looked up to angels as beacons of light in darker times in her life; she looked to God for guidance. It wasn't until she began hearing the whispers from Heaven again that she started to change. So many things could go differently, now that she knew everything. She wanted to help. She needed to help, but in order to do so, she had to gain the loyalty of those she once had allegiance from. Namely, Castiel. She could see the doubt in his eyes when they spoke. She knew he wasn't far from disobedience. It would shatter him, however, to turn his back on Heaven. She believed that he was most loyal to God out of all of the angels, simply because he refused to give up. But he wouldn’t Fall by choice, nor would he Fall easily. It would destroy him. She would just have to find a way to gain his loyalty and the kinship of the Winchesters some other way. There were things afoot - terrible things on the horizon that could be stopped if only someone with more say and power than a fallen angel stepped forward and spoke out.

And now the culmination of all things began to stir and bubble violently in the belly of the world, just waiting to erupt. Turbulence was an inevitability. Heaven was after her, Hell was after everyone else, and there wasn’t any way for her to hold up her hand and stop it. Even with her grace back, even with the strength which did remain, she hadn’t been completely restored to the power of her former rank. She couldn’t stop it all on her own. She needed help.

Anna stood from her place, eyes surveying the area around her. She had work to do – too much to wait any longer, wasting time on reminiscence and pointless nostalgia. The Apocalypse was pretty much nigh, and the Winchesters were at the center of it all. Something was wrong with Sam, and Dean… Anna wanted to make sure he was protected. But they were both her friends, regardless of the darkness in which Sam was choosing to indulge. And for her friends, and for the world. And Cas… Castiel was someone they needed. He was someone they really needed, in fact, and she would get through to him, no matter what she had to do in order to get her point across. He was already beginning to doubt. He needed to understand that earth and humanity were more important than his orders. With newfound goal in mind, and in a surge of determination and a resolved, strong sense of self, Anna disappeared.

Nanami Chiaki | Super Dangan Ronpa 2 | Reserved

[personal profile] megadrive 2013-07-10 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Personality: Looking at her for the first time, you really won't see much that's unique about Nanami... aside from the fact that she's a little unusual. As the Super High School Level Gamer, her skills with video games is supurb. In fact, when she's not playing a game, she's prone to falling asleep while standing up... apparently she doesn't get a lot of sleep at night because she's too busy playing games. She's also not particularly used to being social, so she has to think very carefully before speaking, and sometimes what Nanami says doesn't make particular sense. All of this combined makes her appear to be a bit of a space case.

However, Nanami's love of games also affects the way she interacts with people on a day to day basis. She makes constant video game references and she's always comparing things to something she saw in a game. For example, when another character was acting grumpy and aloof, Nanami said that she was reminded of a video game protagonist (Squall from the FF Series, most likely.) It's honestly hilarious, because while comparisons are normally used to explain things to people, usually the games she references are so obscure that she just confuses the average person even more. She's also able to tell you the year and a summary of at least every japanese game, which is incredibly impressive. Nanami's basically a huge walking encyclopedia on games, and a huge nerd to boot.

She also tends to think of her life as a game that she doesn't want to lose. So when the going gets tough, she's capable of keeping herself and other people together. She often plays peacemaker within the group, even slapping Akane on the cheek to stop her from beating up (and maybe killing, Akane is incredibly strong) Komaeda during chapter 5. Nanami's also one of the characters most opposed to a "field trip of mutual killing" (basically, she's opposed to students murdering other students.) She shows that she's actually really observant and quite clever when she's trying to solve a murder. This goes a little bit against the reader's first impression of her, as a lazy person who only plays games and sleeps. Beyond all of that and her problems with relating to people, Nanami is an incredibly kind person.

Though, as it turns out, we find out that Nanami is actually the traitor; the sixteenth student that wasn't among the original kids that came to Hope Peak's Academy. See, what happened is that after Dangan Ronpa happened, members of Super High School Level Despair were plugged into a virtual world which is actually what the island where SDR2 takes place is in... so basically, they're in a computer game. But when people are murdered in the game, they also die in real life too.

The original purpose of the program was literally as Usami/Monomi states in beginning the game: it's for everyone to make friends and create Hope so that they won't be members of Despair anymore. It's a way for everyone in the program to be cured and go on to live happy lives, basically. But since the program had a virus in it the mutual killing began instead of the friendship making.

This is very important to explain in regard to Nanami's characterization because since she's the traitor she isn't actually a person. She only exists within the program and is a string of code, an AI. She was literally created and existed within the program to help make friends and keep everyone safe, which explains her determination towards stopping the murders and being a peacemaker among the group. Nanami was programmed to combat Despair and be a beacon of Hope. It's for this reason that she's so kind and wants everyone to get along, but despite that, she was a developed AI so she had her own personality too, even with a set of fallbacks and a passion in gaming.

Abilities/Powers: Nanami's only real ability is that she's good at video games. When I say good, I mean really good. As the Super High School Level Gamer it means that basically, out of every high school student, she's the best at playing video games. To be honest this probably makes her a lot better than some adults as well. The next step up after Super High School Level is basically Olympic Level to give you a good idea at how these status work.

... It's out of power. And it needs more.

[ She turns the phone towards herself. ]

Is it true that there's electricity in Haven North? If so, please take me there. I'll let you play too. I have Patapon with me. Released in 2007 and developed by Pyramid. It's a rhythm game where you control an army that hails you as your god. Simple, but very fun, I promise it won't disappoint.

... Now you understand why I must have electricity. Also, if anyone else came with games, we could trade for awhile, maybe. Just please be careful with my PSP.

Character Name: Kyoya Hibari
Canon: Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
Canon Point: Post series
Background/History: http://reborn.wikia.com/wiki/Kyoya_Hibari
Previous Game History: brought from [community profile] mayfield_rpg
Hibari wasn’t, to say it simply, happy to find himself swept away from Namimori. He was even less happy to realize that he had no way of going home out of his own volition. He stayed in Mayfield for about a year, before going back home to Namimori. Although he did have a break from all the city’s pranks and was allowed to have a short stay at home.

As the happy-to-fight person that he is, he started out with attacking most people that he saw, who seemed strong. Like that Marvelous guy on the flying ship, he fought him several times. Everyone was useless and couldn't direct him back to Namimori, and sometimes he attacked them for it, somethimes he decided to ignore them for forever.

It was already on his first day that he met one of the few that he might actually, with a lot of prying, call a friend. Cain has learnt pretty well how to manipulate Hibari, who have eased up over that year to him, and towards the end, he even worried, and could relax in Cain’s precense. That is only Cain and Nyanpire who can brag with, even if Nyanpire is a cat. The last person Hibari would consider a friend (which he actually has yet to admit) is Tohsaka Rin, who has become a person he can exchange relaxed bickering words with. This took long as well, but it did happen, since while they didn’t live just beside each other like Cain and Hibari, they met over and over in school and around town. Those are the only ones that he won’t actually attack upon being awoken from sleep by, even if it happens a muttered “herbivore” gets thrown at them when he’s upset with them.

Throught the year, he became accostumed to being around people. Not enough to stop him from his allergy to crowds to be triggered, but enough to stop him from attacking them right away. The first time something like that happened was when he went to the Home Coming party, forcefully dragged there by Belphegor, from his own world. Then he was dumped there to be on his own and did intend to leave right away, but he was stopped by a conversation with Nyanpire.

There was a time where people either grew or shrank. Hibari grew while he was taking a nap. Yet later, he was even possible to be found napping inside a giant crab he had killed.
And even later, he broke into the dairy together with Belphegor, and saw him being droned. This was not a pleasant feeling, and he hates the thought of anyone he knows to be droned, considering how weak and smiling they all become.

The second event was a bigger one, where he showed a bit more vulernability when he was turned into a small vampire. It wasn't a good thing, since it turned out one of the people that Hibari hate the most, Byakuran, had showed up in town just in time for that. He hated being treated as a weak little child, most of all when he couldn't do anything but hide in the shadows during the day. That was when he leart that he really could hate Mayfield, but also that his friends wouldn't tease him about it forever.

Then there was the time when he swapping bodies with Belphegor. He ran into his very first friend in Mayfield, Cain (bodyswapped with Beast Boy), who didn't exactly like Belphegor, but they figured out who were in the bodies, and Hibari showed that he can learn how his friends works when he met Lancer in Rin's body. Besides that, being turned into a zombie isn’t the nicest thing, really.

All in all, his developement in personality was not anything outwardly visible and didn’t change the basis of it, but he did learn that he could get friends to talk to as well everyone else can, even if they were few and one of them were a cat. The fact that it took time for him to actually trust them, but that’s an important point. He trusts them enough to sleep around them, and to not get too annoyed when they wake him up, and that is a very big sign of trust when it comes to him. He got used to not jumping at every opportunity to fight, as well.

Hibari Kyoya | Katekyo Hitman Reborn! | Reserve

[personal profile] bitetodeath 2013-07-13 04:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Personality:
Hibari Kyoya is known as the strongest out of Vongola's 10th generation guardian's, and it is visible in how he act that he knows just how strong he is. He has a high sense of justice. Or rather, his own justice. He hates being in debt to anyone, and strive to pay them back as soon as possible. This also includes “debts” as in losing to someone in a fight, and he will take any chance he can get to defeat the offending fighter.

The most obvious thing that he will not let anyone forget, is that he hates crowding with a passion, and if he finds you doing just that, he will bite you to death with his tonfa. Actually, he hates crowding so much that if he is exposed to crowsa for too long, his allergy - yes, allergy - is triggered and he gets a terrible allergic reaction with rashes and everything.
He sympathises with no one, especially towards those who are disrupting the discipline in his beloved town Namimori, nor towards those who are crowding. He does whatever he feel like to get what he wants. When he is not pissed off at anyone, he is pretty aloof, and tend to be sleeping at the roof of his school. When he is figting, he only go all out if the opponent is strong. If they're not, he gets bored and don't put any effort into the fight, quickly finishing off the fight to go do something else. Which often includes bite herbivores (aka weaklings) to death or to nap.

He is increadibly loyal to his school; Namimori Middle, and does not graduate as normal students. Instead, he has since an unknonw time back chosen what year he is in on his own. Not that he goes to classes like normal students. But this is because he doesn’t have to, and because if anyone ever told him to actualy go to class, he’d bite them to death.
If anyone disrupts the discipline at his school, he will bite that person to death.

However, he has nothing against small animals, and seem to especially like birds. Because of this, he managed to tame one of Birds birds. Because of this, he has a bit of a underreaction when Roll, while drunken on Flames, accidentially pierce his hand. The box-animal goes berserk because of that, and Hibari doesn't think much of it.
He does not really have much of a naming-sense. He call his bird Hibird (a combination of Hibari + bird), the owl that Mukuro possess during the Future Arc Mukurowl (Mukuro + owl) and his hedgehog-box weapon Roll.

He does have childish sides to him as well, however. For example, during winter he always enjoy a nice snowfight. That is, he preys on people who are crowding, and attack them with snowballs. Sometimes the snowballs are even filled with ice, if he’s feeling especially annoyed or “evil”.
This childishness also cause him to get irritated at the most trivial things. Not that he actually is evil, even though he has the most tendencies towards it among the members outside the mafia.

He is short-tempered, and especially mentioning Rokudo Mukuro is a berserk-buttong for him, as he hate the Illusionist more than anything, due to the defeat he suffered. The only times he has ”gotten along” with someone, is when he and said person has the same prey. Say, for example, after they had infiltrated the Melone Base and gotten to know that Irie Shoichi wasn't as bad as he seemed. He and Gokudera was on quite the same line when wanting to beat up the red-head.

He believes that to make ones Dying Will Flame big, one need to be pissed off. Although that is actually Dino's fault, because that was what he told him. Well, that is the easiest way to explain how the Flame works when it comes to Kyoya, and it works, so it’s all fine in the end, isn’t it?

Abilities/Powers: Besides skills such as amazing speed, reflexes and strength, he fight with his tonfa.

He was given the Vongola Cloud Ring, which help him manifest his cloud wave energy into purple cloud flames. He has an increadible amount of wave energy, and usual rings break after he has used them once.

In the future, he got the Vongola Cloud Box, and when he opens it, it releases a cloud hedgehog he has named Roll. When Roll transforms into Cambio Forma state, it transforms into Alaude Handcuffs. Hibari is able to trap his opponents by multiplying the amount and size of the handcuffs until they become physical restraints. The handcuffs and chains can then tighten until his opponent it squeezed to death.

After his Vongola Ring was scattered, he aquired its upgraded form, the Vongola Gear's ”Bracelet of the Clouds”. When he uses the bracelet to summon Roll and activates its Cambio Forma state, Hibari's uniform and tonfas are altered. It also makes it possible for him to still materialize Alaude's Handcuffs.

But he also sound furious. ]

Fake prince.. When I get my hands on you, I'll bite you to death... You bastard.. And you too, you fucking horse...

2; What the hell.

[ First he got back to his Namimori for just a short while, and he didn't get many proper fights, either. Not any that reached any conclusion, at least. ]

Next time I see Xanxus, I'll bite him to death without interfearance.

[ He's just complaining a little. ]

3; [ He might sound the most displeased that he's ever done. ]

Why. Is. He. Here? Out of everyone, why him?

[ He’s talking about Byakuran, because really, he hates the guy just as much as anybody else in his own world. ]

4; Which herbivore was it that made all these flowers grow everywhere? It's disrupting the discipline.

[ Which, really, it does in many cases. People action all out of character, and everything.. ]

5; [ He sounds really irritated, yet a little eager, because really, he's itching for a fight. ]

Is there anyone strong in this faked town? And I don't mean the Fake Prince, because I already know that you're weak.

Sample Entry Two:
It's not appreciated, the suddenly loud greeting he got. Two of the loudest people that he knows, Yamamoto Takeshi and Sasagawa Ryohei, has suddenly invaded his house. Without his permission, too. How the hell did they even get in? No, he knew the answer to that one. Sasagawa let them both in without even bothering to ask. He did it all the time and never got that Kyoya didn’t want him there. Not even if he bit him to death. It was all incredibly frustrating, and he didn’t know what he was to do to make them leave. Yamamoto Takeshi would only laugh it off, and Sasagawa would just be like he always was. Annoying. Loud. And not refusing to leave.

He could hear them by the entrance, Sasagawa was apparently looking for a toilet. Again. What was so hard about finding one of the bathrooms? There were several, and one of them were located just a door away from the hall. But, as annoying as it always was, he didn’t learn, and always skipped the right door, as if he didn’t even see it.

Kyoya sighed, irritated and not feeling up to this meeting right now. He slipped into a pair of geta standing perched on the step out of his room into the garden, and he left the room to head to the front of the house. It went faster to go around it, than pass through the labyrinth of corridors, and if he wanted to stop Sasagawa from wrecking havoc in his home, he had to hurry before they got further into the house.

Background/History:
Wiki Profile.
First game with her apperance.
Previous Game History:N/A
Personality:
She finds peace in her work, has fun with it and with those she interacts and is content. As a pet, she is able to always come back to someone to act as her mentor when she never had one before. It does bring a sort of comfort. She's fine with being a pet for someone else- in fact, she will pride herself as such because she is the pet of none other than the 'fearsome' Satori. Even if Utsuho may hold more chaotic and destructive power than Satori does, Satori is one of the few that has come to understand and accept her. Befriending Satori has brought new meaning to her, making her as well as other animal-like Youkai of the underworld content with what they do, hardly ever leaving to see the above surface.

She has been described as a 'bird brain', obeying others she likes, and being very impressionable. At the same time she leaves room to do what she likes for herself. She does not think things through to greater extents, leaving her to come off as simple minded. In her mind, things and situations aren't- or rather shouldn't- be as complicated as others make it out to be. This may be due to part of her ability of maintaining those fires. She may see it as a simple task, but those fires themselves are made from the ever so complex nuclear fusion. It's something described as illusionary in-game, but she experiences it and tends to it every day. Before she gained the power of nuclear fusion, she holds some curiosity to how fusion and fission work, but she's never given it much thought. After she gained the power, she inherited that knowledge along with the ability to use it. She's proud of this fact in a way that it's one of the few things she happens to know about more than others do. Unfortunately, her intelligence is limited to physics. Because she has been working in the Hell of Blazing Fires for most of her entire existence, she has very limited knowledge and a grasp of logic. She has never had proper schooling, and is not quite literate. While being called 'bird brained' by her closest friend is one thing, she does not enjoy being mocked with this by others, as is quick to become upset over it.

After she was beaten, Ustuho become amazed by the universe. Stars, suns, fire, and energy-- that is the environment she enjoys most, especially since her part of Hell resembles it. Because of this, she still has a small inclination of wanting to render everything into the particles they once were 13+ billion years ago, only to see the resulting medium conglomerate again. The only reason she does not do this is because she will be punched in the face again by the heroine of the game. As such, her moral compass still fluctuates between the preconventional "Individualism and Exchange" and the conventional "Good Interpersonal Relationships". The Underworld may be vast and has its own sky for her to fly around, but it's certainly not like what she knows of Gensokyo. Before Hell was separated from the Underworld, she rarely ventured above ground. Even running errands for Satori, she hasn't seen much, making her appear sheltered. She's forgotten much about it, but is curious of knowing more of the above ground world for seeing how the Fires of Blazing Hell are tied to it.

Following this note, it's important to note that Utsuho is fearful of being alone and empty. That she had represented emptiness before is one of the reasons she had been chosen to eat and control the power of the stars. Unfortunately, often times this hunger to not be alone and empty is difficult to control.

Utsuho expresses emotions without a second thought. Over all she may come off as ditzy, simple minded, and child-like, but this makes her an honest person at best. In most cases she will openly feel bad if she has done something wrong (wrong as in, going against Satori). Satori is able to see into the inner mind of someone and invoke fear into them- it's no wonder Satori has tamed Utsuho. For whatever methods Satori has employed to make Utsuho a pet, Utsuho now deeply respects and cares for Satori. It's a habit developed from countless years of being a pet to someone who can read her mind. It is not that she's bad a lying or hiding something, but rather that she's so akin to having others openly read her that she doesn't bother. For the same reason, she believes it's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission. Because of her power, this is rather easy for her to do- in a way that 'if you don't forgive me, I'll burn you'. She may shift from surprised to boastful to itching for a fight within the same response. It is a quick decomposition of emotions; however, she is just as quick to forget her anger and sadness over little things as she is to become angry or upset about them. Similarly, she bounces from being courteous to being rude. However, this rudeness is not intentional; without her master or someone else to tell her (or beat it into her) otherwise, she will not think anything is wrong with her behavior. On some level, she knows she may quickly change from one emotion to the next. Thankfully, she may distract herself by spending energy enough so that she won't have the energy to be upset any longer.

Utsuho is gullible and easily controlled. For example, if someone extends a tray of mystery meat X saying she should try it- she will. In this way, she trusts strangers and others enough to believe in them. If she is hurt, she knows she may deal ten-fold damage back to them. On the other hand, it will take her a great deal of thought to realize she has been wronged in the first place. To a certain extent, she knows she's not the brightest- so she puts some blame of falling into another's trap on her own lack of intelligence. For this reason she depends on Satori to tell her what is right and wrong, much like a child. Unfortunately this dependence may be extended to strangers in other situations, with the result of her being trapped in her own circular logic of trusting others to know who to trust.

When she fights, she tends to sober up. It's possibly the one of the few things in her life that she knows how to do well (besides tending to the Fires). She prides herself in her fights because it not only is a good way to have fun, but it is also a means for her to calm herself. In a way this is its own form of meditation. She uses it as a means to cool down. A fight is a way to forget her anger or frustrations. Unfortunately, in the Former Hell there's very few that are able to withstand her power. So she ends up using the 'punching pillows' tactic- shooting the Fires of Blazing Hell with her own power.

Abilities/Powers:
++ Flight, via her wings.
++ She is a youkai, a Hell Raven, and as one who was literally born in Hell, she is able withstand the intense heat and pressure of the underworld. It it known that both she and other youkai of her kind take heir hot baths in lava without feeling a thing.
++ Utsuho has the ability "to the extent of manipulating nuclear fusion and fission". She is radioactive, enough to set off Geiger counters and induce nausea and vomiting onto inspecting people within ten minutes. In canon, her power of nuclear fusion and fission is described as the "ultimate energy", a perfectly green fuel source influences gravity, and is an "illusionary" power. Of course, having recently obtained these powers, even Utsuho does not know how to fully use them, the extent of which is limited by her own imagination. This makes her appear as extraordinarily dangerous and erratic, switching between different modes of attack for lack of experience. On the other hand, like the subatomic particles she controls, her attacks do have a pattern to them- similar to watching charged particles move about in a bubble chamber. Evading her attacks is similar to evading radiation in a nuclear reactor; the best way to not be hit is to fire back or to attempt to cancel out an attack.
++ This video shows Utsuho's attack pattern, slowed down to 15fps. Besides these abilities, she is shown to be talented in hand-to-hand combat and aerial attacks.
++ Spell cards 1.
++ Spell cards 2.
++ A description of her common spell cards.

Besides her clothes? None. Her arm cannon and her "cement coffin" boot appear and disappear when she goes into fight mode.

Sample Entry Two:
It is simply one of those moments where the fires seem much too hot to handle. The fire has fed on too many corpses, and it blazes with both radioactive decay and the crackling of flesh. And she? She must tend this nuclear furnace- quite the task for someone who other Youkai only deem as 'bird-brained'. But what she lacks in intelligence she makes up with experience and with pure power. The primordial power to create and destroy, the same power that threatens to consume her from the inside out. She breathes it, she consumes it, lives for it. If only she could have the entire world full of this energy, if only--

No. She... must keep those she cares for close. They would not withstand this power of the stars, so she must keep the metaphorical lid always tightened.

Black wings extend, beat once, and she flies off, effortlessly dodging the corona of the subterranean flames. If she had pure white wings and if the fire had been water- she would appear as graceful as any swan dancing on the surface of a pond. Fingers dip into molten ground and melted magic, skimming and drawing patterns of light over the area. She marks a particular patch of excessive fusion activity. A subterranean sunspot. As she is now, she cannot stop the energy itself, but she knows how to channel it- to release it into the above ground realm. It's either that or risk damage to her home in the Underworld.

And that she would not allow by any circumstance.

The energy releases. As a result, a long-dormant volcano erupts above ground.

Personality:

For anyone who meets Noki for the first time - she’ll either come off as an eccentric serial killer, or a very childish little girl. Neither of these impressions are wrong, really! Noki was born and raised to become a killer, thinks of it as nothing more than a game and often plays with her targets like a child would their toys. Even though she is quite skilled at what she was raised to do - she is still a child herself, and it shows.

Noki childishly plays with her enemies, she addresses those closest to her mainly as “big brother”, and “big sister” -- even when there aren’t any real familial ties between them. Anyone who has undergone the same treatment as they had, been born the same way - is automatically regarded as a sibling. Whilst not everyone gets the same sort of title, Noki also refers to Badou ( someone completely unrelated ) in the same manner! Less important and less “fun” others get names like “Mr. Pig”. When told strictly not to do something, she and Luki, her twin sister, decide it’s perfectly fine to do it - as long as they only do it a little! Playing only a little is fine, it’s when it’s no longer a little that it becomes not okay. When she knows to come back, that she’ll get punished otherwise -- Noki decides that the thought of punishment is too much and runs away to stay with someone who definitely does not want her and Luki to be there.

Still, Noki is mature enough to know her limits. She knows that it’s perfectly okay to shoot Heine full of holes because he’ll just regenerate anyway. On the contrary, she knows that it is not okay to play with Nill, someone who is not equipped with the Spine, in that way. There is a large difference between normal humans and those like her, and she acknowledges it. Uses it to her advantage in many occasions as well - because while Heine would love to “play” with them, he definitely would not want to play with Nill close by. Nill also genuinely interests her! Because Nill has wings; she’s a genuine angel, and despite Noki also being the result of genetic alterations, she doesn’t seem too familiar ( or at least, aware of ) with the other sort, the sort that resulted in Nill.

While she does happily play the part of a child ( coloring and doodling those whom she considers close, stopping in the middle of a battle to cry loudly over her prosthetic arm being broken, calling Luki fat for landing before her during a race ), that part of her that screams killer definitely has a noticeable presence.

Even though they’re “owned” by Einstürzen, Luki and Noki do tend to run off to “play” frequently - whether it’s with Heine, or playing a game of bounty hunter. They make a game of it, telling their targets to run because they’re going to play a game of tag with them. Even while it may seem like Noki’s shooting haphazardly whilst chasing her targets -- she’s playing with them, missing on purpose so she can watch them run even more. Because it’s fun, watching her enemies squirm. Just like it’s fun, shooting Heine full of holes and being given the same treatment in return. Really, to her, it’s nothing more than a fun game played between siblings - even if Heine is opposing Einstürzen and going against the plans she’s set in motion.

It should also be noted that, when Noki gets pushed to the edge - she loses all sense of reasoning, becomes nothing more than a beast clawing it’s way out of a dangerous situation -- even if that means clawing out the throats of whomever happens to be close by. However! Given her years of training and building up endurance, Noki doesn’t lose control very often; she’s well accustomed to being ripped into shreds and doesn’t show much of a reaction to it. It take a lot of mental stress to push her that far.

Abilities/Powers:
Noki was created for the sole purpose of being used as a genetic experiment. Born in a test tube, given the Kerberus Spine, and raised in an underground lab -- she’s definitely more skilled than any normal girl her age.

With the Kerberus Spine attached to the back of her neck, she has enhanced speed, strength, and heals from most wounds within seconds. She can easily handle being shot multiple times, slashed up, and can even regenerate a limb if it’s lost. It does still hurt, of course! But because of how often she does find herself full of bullet holes and large gashes, her tolerance for pain is rather high also. Shooting her through the head is still an effective way to kill her, though! I mean, if someone really wanted to.

Her left arm is a prosthetic, which can transform into a very large gun whenever she wants it to. Unnnlike the rest of her, this part is prone to breaking and it’s doubtful whether or not she can mend it.

She’s very skilled at fighting, too! Hand to hand, with weapons, with one arm ripped to shreds -- with most her body ripped to shreds - Noki’ll keep fighting until the end. Unless, of course, her prosthetic arm is ripped to shreds and she’s under threat of making one of her superiors angry. She’s not as good on her feet as some - but Noki is fast and very durable.

Items/Weapons: Noki will be arriving with nothing but herself and the clothes on her back!

Sample Entry Two:
Waking up in a new area didn't bother her at all. It was different, weird definitely - but it wasn't the worst place she has ever woken up in. It didn't look that bad, even if it was very run down; there's lots of room to play, and many to play with and really, she can't argue with that. Even if her clothes kept getting full of holes and needed mending near-constantly, she could live with that.

What Noki couldn't live with was being here without Luki. She and Luki should have never been separated, they were meant to be together, forever. They were the Hardcore Twins, trailing blood behind them wherever they went. Without Luki, Noki wasn't whole. It was hard to enjoy all the games that were played here without Luki; leaving bloody messes behind without her wasn't nearly as fun as it was when she was with her. It was discouraging, made everything twice as boring.

Even so, there were ways to keep mildly amused, Noki had learned that fast enough. Down in the tunnel, there were plenty of things to play with that she wouldn't get punished for killing. She could play down here to her heart's content - and it was even more fun when she decided not to use her weapon. Playing while handicapped always made it more exciting. There were few things down here that really caught her off guard, now. The few times she found something that could, it excited her even more. A large gash in her side caused by some headless nurse, almost losing a leg to some thing with scissors; it wasn't terribly painful, and she made sure to guard her prosthetic arm, just in case something tried to go after that! As long as that didn't break, it was all in good fun.

After all, this was what she was built for. Endless combat, fighting and killing - it was in her blood, written into every cell of her body. If there was anything that could take her mind off the loss of her sister, anything that could keep her ( albeit temporarily ) amused, it was this.
