Applications Two

APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED!
The next application opening date is Friday 16th January, 7pm EST.
The next application processing date is Friday 23rd January, 7pm EST.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE POST YOUR APPLICATIONS HERE ON THE NEW APPLICATION PAGE
We're so glad you're thinking of joining us in Haven, where we are all safe.
In order to apply for a canon character, please fill out the information below and post it in a comment in this entry. For an OC, please apply using the OC information. Please do not link to applications, all applications must be posted here. Please do not delete your applications; if you do not want it to be seen, you can request for it to be screened after a decision is made.
You may apply for two characters every application round, to a total of six characters. Only two of these may be from the same canon, and they cannot be too familiar with one another. Please make sure to mark the header of your comment(s) with RESERVED or NOT RESERVED, as well as the character name and canon. App challenges are not allowed currently.
Try to remember spelling and grammar are important, and in app length quality and not quantity is what matters. All parts of the application must be your own work, plagiarism will not be tolerated, though you are welcome to reuse your own old applications.
If you are asked for revisions, please don't panic! It doesn't mean the mods don't like you, only that we probably need more information before making a decision. If you are asked for revisions, you will have one week to supply them.
Applications are open on a monthly cycle, where they will be opened on the second Friday of every month for a week, and then processed on the third Friday of the month, before being closed again.
We now have a test drive community athaventest which is continuously open. Posts there may be used in lieu of a sample in the application. You may also link posts, logs, or threads from other games and memes in lieu of samples, though we ask that they be no more than one year old. As of November 22nd 2014, samples cannot be "where am I" intro posts. The reason for this is that we often find it hard to gauge characterization from those, as most people when immediately in a new surrounding are confused or frightened.
While we encourage players who have dropped to re-join us, we do not encourage the continual rapid dropping and re-apping of the same character in a short time period. You are welcome to request specific housing, and all attempts will be made to accommodate that request, but it may not always be possible.

Other Characters Played: None
Requested apartment: Housing Block 4, Apartment 4.1
Character Name: Lilith
Canon: Supernatural
Canon Point: Before her death, end of Season 4
Background/History: http://www.supernaturalwiki.com/index.php?title=Lilith#History
Previous Game History: N/A
Personality: Lilith is a woman of multiple facets to her character. On the outset, she feigns a great deal of friendliness and warmth to those she meets. This is her means of catching them off guard. She has a certain desire to toy with her victims, viewing it as polite and good. When she is provoked, rather than flying into a rage, Lilith will become cold and silent, striking out at her victims in precise movements that go for the heart. Her preferred method of torture is to use something painful (a memory, etc) against others. For example, she used the dead that Dean and Sam could not save to torment them.
She is master strategist, able to out fox the angels and hunters in her game. She is always one step ahead and takes everything into consideration. Lilith views her work as artistry, preferring to see her carnage and chaos as fun. More than anything, she enjoys simply reveling in the pain that she causes.
She does have mercy and compassion, but it is hard to trigger and often comes in twisted versions of what true mercy is. Such as sparing a victim for last, as she is "saving a life." Her allegiance isn't technically to Lucifer, it is to herself first. It's why she offered Sam help and agreed to not break the seals, looking to save her life.
However much a demon can love (beyond themselves), Lilith loved Crowley and Lucifer. One being her father and creator, the other her friend, lover and companion. Lucifer was her creator, but on the whole, hated demons. It is likely she felt a similar need to gain her father's attention. By serving Lucifer, Lilith was being his dutiful and loving daughter. This, I think, was her driving factor in facing her death (though she fought against it for so long.)
What's more, she took a two bit tailor from the 17th century and made him into something more powerful. Out of all the demons of Hell, she chose him to serve at her side. This indicates there was a great deal of trust and similarity in ambition and drive between them. Lilith, much like Crowley, has a system of honor and order (also having the allotted time frame until contracts with cross roads demons expire.) Despite what Sam said, I believe Lilith honors her deals. This is something she shares with Crowley. Furthermore, she has a system in which to achieve things. She isn't about seizing and taking like Abaddon. She has an elegant dance and a true enjoyment in the slow pleasure of torturing others.
Crowley and Lilith were lovers, though neither monogamous. She likely was with him up until her death, perhaps her longest and most solid relationship (as not many others are mentioned). It's possible she didn't trust anyone else (aside from Ruby) the way she trusted Crowley. That to me indicates there was a deep feeling for him, even if it wasn't complete love, it was a reliance and need.
Her relationship with Lucifer is debatable. While she loyally followed his wishes and desires, Lilith did have moments of obvious doubt. Her main objection being that she would die and miss the fun of the apocalypse. It is possible (as Lucifer never cared for Demons) that Lilith's relationship with him mirrored his own relationship with God. Both viewed with disgust and placed lower than another group of species. Whereas Lucifer had to contend with humans, Lilith had to contend with angels.
She is an effective manager, keeping Hell in line for all the time that she ran it. It is only after her death that it eventually fell to Crowley's control and became a civil war between Abaddon and Crowley. Before, the demons obediently followed and feared her. She was their overlord and many refused to speak against her, even while Sam and Dean were trying to locate who held the contracts.
As a whole, I see Lilith as a stoic woman. A queen in control of her situations and always looking for an outcome that benefits her first. She is loyal to causes that interest her and serves with her full abilities.
Abilities/Powers:
- Lilith feeds on babies and sex.
- Being the first demon created, Lilith is far more powerful than most demons.
- Superhuman strength
- Superhuman durability
- Telekinetic - Allows her to influence objects or people with her mind.
- Can emanate a demonic white blast of energy from her palm that can decimate structures, destroy supernatural creatures along with humans.
- Lilith can force a demon from its human host and reclaim its body by re-possessing it.
- Command demons
- She can bear contracts of deals made and make deals herself.
- Control over hellhounds.
Weaknesses
- It is implied that Ruby's knife can at least harm her.
- She can be killed by Sam (only when he has consumed vast amounts of demon blood).
Items/Weapons: Just the dress on her back

Sample Entry Two:
Lilith opened the vessel's eyes, rising to her feet as she got her bearings, adjusting to the meatsuit and the sudden possession. The woman had seemed innocent enough, walking home after a date, full of excitement and desire. She would do as well as any other brief stop over. More than anything, Lilith needed a moment to gather her thoughts and regroup.
Her plans had been waylaid, disrupted by Dean Winchester's appearance with that rather pathetic looking prophet. Summoning an archangel? It was rather pathetic and under handed, but enough for her to have to admit defeat, which in itself was vexing.
Now what would she do?
This had been fun and amusing in the beginning. What demon wouldn't relish the chance to cause torment and chaos? Breaking the seals required blood and creative torture, it was art, slowly shaping into Lilith's true masterpiece. Certainly her work with the Witnesses would leave a lasting impression, much like Rodin's The Gates of Hell or the Last Supper? People would be talking about it for centuries.
But slowly and slowly, it was becoming more and more apparent that the fun was coming to an end. Lilith shook her head, leaning back against the tree as she stared ahead in contemplation. What had she said to Sam only moments before?
"Killed off right before the good part."
It was true, as much as she had ignored it before. She was going to be destroyed and would miss all the fun.
Lucifer ordered it and she would obey, or she had, enjoying the prospect of torture and pain that she would inflict. But where in this did she have loyalty? A desire to see her father lay waste to her followers, all in a twisted sense of revenge against his Father. That's what this was all about, getting back at Daddy.
So where did this leave her? A puppet in his games? As she was in the beginning. Did it even matter? What choice did she have at this point? There was no going back. Not to the beginning of everything and not to a place where the Winchesters had even heard of her. She was marked for death, whether she followed through with the plan or not. In the end, she could accept it and finish her work with one last grand tableau...or she could be a coward and run.
She smiled, brushing back the hair of her meatsuit. If anything else, this would show the Winchesters that she never loses. Not even in death would they defeat her. That was something, at least.
-> REVISE
The reason for this is that parts of the personality section seem contradictory to other parts of that section and the samples. You mentioned that you see her as stoic, but other evidence you have provided shows her as showing emotion quite clearly. We would like a clarification on this, please. The reason we would like a revised first person sample, is that no date can be found on the link provided and so we cannot verify that it falls within the one year limit.
We apologize for the inconvenience. You have one week to reply to these revisions, thank you.

As a whole, I see Lilith as a woman in control, she is capable of feelings and changes in her mood, but she doesn't allow that to affect her plans. Her anger doesn't control her, nor does her positive emotions. She is capable of putting them to the side in what she views as the greater good. There are no instances in her canon history that show her to be ruled by what she feels. Though she initially presents that appearance to Sam (by feigning jealousy at his powers and claim to Hell), we discover that she was in fact not jealous of him and wanted him to ascend. While she does on occasion strike out (example: killing the grandfather when she possessed the little girl at her introduction) it was part of her goal to terrorize the family. Her main design is to keep her baser emotions to the side, unless they are useful in achieving her ends.
First Person Sample:
This certainly is an interesting twist. [Her face peers through the video feed, inspecting the device with much amusement]. Rather clever on your part. I must say, I haven't been caught off guard before. An impressive feat.
I don't intend to stop though, if this is your doing Winchesters. No, that would be silly. You're not smart enough to have thought this up.
Whoever this is, you're little trap is admirable, but foolish. Assuming this world is capable of allowing my personal genius to shine through, I will carry out my masterpiece. I promise you that. The end, as they say, is near.
