We're so glad you're thinking of joining us in Haven, where we are all safe.

In order to apply for a canon character, please fill out the information below and post it in a comment in this entry. For an OC, please apply using the OC information. Please do not link to applications, all applications must be posted here. Please do not delete your applications; if you do not want it to be seen, you can request for it to be screened after a decision is made.

You may apply for two characters every two weeks, to a total of six characters. Only two of these may be from the same canon, and they cannot be too familiar with one another. Please make sure to mark the header of your comment(s) with RESERVED or NOT RESERVED, as well as the character name and canon. App challenges are not allowed currently.

Try to remember spelling and grammar are important, and in app length quality and not quantity is what matters. If you wish to request a specific apartment, please do so in the relevant part of the application. All parts of the application must be your own work, plagiarism will not be tolerated, though you are welcome to reuse your own old applications.

If you are asked for revisions, please don't panic! It doesn't mean the mods don't like you, only that we probably need more information before making a decision. If you are asked for revisions, you will have one week to supply them.

Every attempt will be made to place a character in their chosen apartments, though this may not always be possible depending on the slots available.

Applications are open constantly, but are only processed every other Friday at 7PM EST. The Saturday following acceptance, an IC mingle log will be posted for characters to be introduced to the game.

We now have a test drive community at haventest which is continuously open. Posts there may be used in lieu of a sample in the application. You may also link posts, logs, or threads from other games and memes in lieu of samples, though we ask that they be no more than one year old.

Personality:

An exceptional girl who is often quiet, hot-headed and tough; Morgiana is notable for caring deeply for her friends. She is somebody who is very stubborn, and will act childish if she is stopped from doing anything that she would like to do. Morgiana has a heart of gold, she is very loyal to those who will treat her right, especially Alibaba who saved her from living the life as a slave girl, and is very grateful for him and Aladdin too. The first time we meet Morgiana, she is someone who never shows much emotion, from her life living under Jamil, aiding to him always; and considerably as he was the one who turned Morgiana into a frightened little puppy, while abusing her because he 'owned' her. She is someone who has been kicked around, shown as worthless, as nothing more but a slave; and yet the Fanalis has overcome this, moving on, or at least trying to do so with the help of her new found friends.

The reasoning behind Morgiana becoming emotionless, was because of Jamil's constant beating on her. Even while she was younger, all her life ever since being placed within his clutches, she had been treated this way; but as a slave had to grin and bear it, or the beatings would be worse. She became a slave when she was only a child, taken away from her parents, and crying daily for them; in hopes they would hear her. As a former slave, she had to endure the beatings, and run to Jamil's aid whenever he needed it. After meeting Alibaba and Aladdin, her personality had changed, becoming friendlier all round, less cold and she is now able to smile, becoming happy for the first time in her life. It is then she states she will become her friends ' wings '.

While Morgiana is a girl with extraordinary abilities and talents, someone who loves her friends dearly and will do anything for them; she is still insecure about her past as a slave girl, and it is something that will be on her mind, even stopping her to do such things; for example, she turned down Hakuryuus' offer to become his empress, because she was a former slave; and in her eyes she would never be worthy enough, however she might have also rejected his offer because of the budding feelings for Alibaba. As Morgiana is a former slave, the shackles she was once bounded by still seem to haunt her, becoming easily embarrassed by the scars on her ankles, especially if she becomes aware that someone might have noticed them. Over time it has lessoned, but life as a slave has taken its toll on Morgiana and she is still very self-conscious about her past.

She is still a girl, tom-boyish if anything; who will act as a typical female would, becoming flushed at compliments and becoming jealous at the right moments, while seemingly getting over the fact within a few moments. Morgiana is honest, always speaking what is on her mind; and Morgiana is a girl that wears her heart on her sleeve, but she is strong in her own mindset, in her abilities and someone not to be misinterpreted, or mistreated for anything, for anything else. She is one of the most unselfish, and kind-hearted person you may ever meet; but when she is jealous, she is jealous and it's best to leave her alone in her temper, and within her stubbornness.

If Morgiana trusts you enough, you will hear of her past as a slave; and while it is something that continues to be on her mind; it is possibly the only weak spot within her, besides her friends becoming captured, or even them passing on. Morgiana is someone who is independent, wanting to do things on her own, not following a crowd, or doing it only because someone else had. She makes her own decisions, never relying on another person; unless it is necessary, however at times she heavily relies on her friends; continuing to stay thankful to both Alibaba and Aladdin.

But what is Morgiana's biggest downfall? She is someone who is barely taken off guard, and would rather place her friends happiness before her own. Still life as a former slave has been daunting, and she will jump into battle without a second thought; even if it is deathly dangerous. Morgiana has poor swimming capabilities, being showed to be saved; which also reflects on these personalities while she feels the need to become her friend wings, she still cannot do everything on her own. She never complains about her work load, or anything else but her diligence is what keeps her going, and her decision to live and love for other people she surrounds herself with.
