Background/History: the live play, tv tropes. There's no specific page on Junko's involvement in Dangan Ronpa, and it's a bit ridiculous to ask to read the LP, so I'll be providing a summary! While Junko plays a very big role in all the installments of Dangan Ronpa, her primary and most notorious one is in the original game itself.

Living her life in Despair, Junko Enoshima and Mukuro Ikusaba were close as any pair of sisters could be, and it showed through the way they rightfully stood by each other and dealt with each other as time went on. Instead of falling into the despair, they embraced it, and soon Junko's mind became rather clouded and twisted with different ideas from the normal girl putting on her makeup. Realizing the cruelty and reality of the world at a young age, there's no doubt in her mind that there's just something about it that tickles her fancy. They conspired, and eventually formed Super High School Level Despair. Which is an organization that's often feared for much more than its name, it's clear what their motives are, and it's Despair.

While the details aren't exactly stated, it's the people in SHSL Despair that make with the Worst, Most Despair-Inducing Incident in the History of Mankind possible, ultimately being the Despairification of Mankind-- a plan concocted by the Despair Sisters. This incident is what drives the students and specifically, Junko's classmates, into hiding at Hope's Peak Academy until it all blew over and everything settled. They sealed themselves inside, agreeing to remain as humanity's last hope for as long as they live and to never leave. These fifteen students were unlucky enough to be locked in with Junko and her sister, more than likely because they were the ones being subjected to the game of murder. The instigator behind everything, disguised as "Monobear", Junko rallied the students to kill one another with crucial and distinct motives  with the promise of leaving.

But there was more than just that, as with each murderer has to bear, they proceed with a trial to determine who the killer is once a body is discovered. Once the murderer is found, they are executed in front of their friends with a method customized only for them.

Though, if they were all friends how could they so easily switch on each other? The answer is simple, as Junko had given them some form of memory loss in order to forget their friendships they made before it all, making them complete and utter strangers. And because they were all now "strangers", it was easy for Mukuro to disguise as her sister and become "Super High School Level Fashion Girl". Not long had passed before "Junko Enoshima" had assaulted Monobear after the first murder. Because of that, she had been pierced with several spears, killing her as an example for the rest of the students. From then on, Junko manipulated and coaxed the rest of the students to further participate in this game, murdering their companions and suffering the worst kind of despair through the lies and mistrust they placed upon themselves. She had to push them, first to recruit those who believed in the cause, and second to draw in those who opposed her to gun them down at the gates of the school.

Eventually, the murdering ceases, and the ever watchful eye of Enoshima doesn't like the pause in what they're doing. She eventually takes matters into her own hands, putting some sense into those bastards by crushing their little laptop to merciless bits. Since it's hard to keep secrets in a place ridden with security cameras! At some point she took it upon herself to personally knock Naegi utterly unconscious as he was snooping in the bathroom, disguised perfectly, and even assaulting him when he was bedridden. It was his luck that saved him, and because of that luck the desecration of Mukuro's body came into play. From what seems to be no real respect for the dead, Junko, for the final case of the Mastermind and the murderer of Junko Enoshima (later to be agreed upon as Mukuro Ikusaba), used her sister's body as the key ingredient for everything. It was a minefield, and it brought the real Junko out of hiding when she was caught in the middle of the trial following the discovery of the corpse.

During the trial she acknowledged defeat but found no comfort in leaving the secrets they couldn't figure out unsolved, and guided them along the way before she provided an ultimatum: Execute Naegi, or risk the air purification to shut off and be forced to leave by picking Junko? With their hope renewed by Naegi's proclamations, they all mutually agreed upon Junko's death and she merrily dove into her own execution, ending the game of murder with her suicide.

Personality:
Junko is, to be very brief, a person of despair.

She lives for it, and craves it, mourns it, wishes for it, experiences it, and quite frankly, squirms for it. The one basic thing we have to cover is the fact that this Super High School Level Fashion Girl's main, driving motive is the fact that she has a super (super), super, super, super bad despair fetish. Of course, this directly applies to anything she could even label as despair, her own in included. Whether it's yours, or hers, or her sister's, or the world's, as long as she can see the wrinkles and sudden crushing realization of your hope twisted into nothingness, she's perfectly content. She's perkily nonchalant about it too, making such a topic to be the center of her topics, of her introductions, of her style, of her glossy lips and hair, even. It's to the point where if she thinks about it, she gets excited, she gets happy, she gets anxious, she gets jealous..

..jealous of the fact she can't experience it. As ridiculously childish as it is, Junko is a being consumed with thoughts that directly correlate to despair, or the despair of others, instead of anything else. But while being childish, she's cruelly analytical, and is the type of girl who will get rid of all the faulty parts of a machine to make it properly work and simply replacing it with better ones. The cruel and unjust murder of her sister is a fine example of how she has a distinct lack of sympathy in that aspect, much less on the feelings of others. "If it won't work," then fix it, right? Despite being so close to her older sister, and even more so the connecting link between the two of them (despair), and being the leading two behind their organization while cooperating as "one being", all that time and effort and emotional drive went down the toilet as soon as Junko labelled Mukuro useless to their own plot, and decided to execute her to instill fear into the remaining students in the gymnasium. In fact, she's more fixated with her own goals than what's already predestined. Even though she's a teenager, and probably should be maturing as we speak, she's the least mature person you'd ever talk to-

-considering the fact that she's untrustworthy to begin with. As proven by her betrayal to her sister, and even more so, the fact that she mourned her, primarily because she got to die in despair, shows that while she still has some humanity left in her but the real deal is that she killed her own twin sister in cold blood. Being the co-leader to an organization like "Super High School Level Despair" can encourage such behavior, or stimulate it, to where this is "okay". And if this is "okay", only later will someone like her realize that she was at fault, and that killing her sister was probably a bad thing (notice the "probably"). Once Junko starts thinking about something, she generally likes to nitpick and even sketch and carve into the finer details of something, making it fully functioning and fool proof. She scrutinizes thing to where it's almost ridiculous, and has observant eyes to match her excruciatingly precise expectations and movements. So, for instance, is she has information she wants to withhold from someone, and if there's promising results if she does, then there's a hefty chance she'll keep it to herself until she finally has the result she aimed for. Hell, she'll even use blackmail or use guilt against someone if it gets her what she wants.

The thing is, Junko is more consumed with satiating her own amusement than the concern of others. The safety of the students? There was no such thing in her mind to begin with, since she had made sure to give them amnesia to give them the proper incentive in order to make their plan work. Mukuro? While she loved her big sister dearly, she was an obstacle in the way of success. And it's better to eliminate something that simply won't do rather than forcing it to run. It's maybe this that shows that even though she kind of got rid of her sister without any hesitation, her reasoning being rather simple but helpful in the long run, she still cares for her in some small way. Because she's observant, she's more than likely to be able to read others better than one may assume. And even better, guide them in the direction she wants them to go- for she is charismatic, and it's been said that she's the kind of person people are drawn to.. allies and enemies alike. It's also been known that despite having people against her, she has the brains and talking to not only recruit others but the people who want her dead as well.

With this, it shows that she's manipulative as well a girl who exploits fears and faults in others to let her have the upper hand. She pushes others to the very core, and is callous and blunt with her insults and provocations, too. While also being manipulative, she's secretive, concealing her innermost thoughts and only shows them to others when knowing she can get something great out of it or if there's a bigger fish in the pond that'll be caught because of it. Generally, she can play the observer or the mastermind, because of her ability to catch little things others wouldn't, along with her clever and uncanny habits .. or maybe it's the fact that she's incredibly resourceful, as is her sister, in using what's around her in a makeshift case to pin it all on someone else. If she can escape out of something without getting the blame for it, then she's all for. If she can prove herself to be a winner in the very end, if she can experience the despair she had planned for this long, long time, then she's all for. Junko is selfish, and a girl who wants to take full reigns when she knows she can do it. After all, she knows her limitations and how to set them.. but being a girl who considers herself to HAVE no limits really deters that statement considerably- since she goes all out with whatever she does since she thinks that to begin with.

Junko is someone who can throw caution to the wind while preserving her safety and fully knowing the dangers and consequences of her actions. In other words, keeping her pretty face beautifully angry! But that doesn't exactly mean she isn't prone to having extreme fits of incessant anger if things don't go her way, or if she's just that dissatisfied with a situation. Proving to show that she's more intellectual than she lets on, enough to where she can prepare for her death in the future and spread despair from the afterlife. And this intellect is what formulated the grandmaster plan to spread the despair that these students will cause to the outside world, we clearly have to give credit to how creative and gruesome, as well grisly all of the preparations and executions were. They were ironic, funny, and not to mention, fitting of the crime and theme each time she gave out a motive. And what can be called as a seed for Despair, Junko will gladly feed it water and let it bask in the sun.

In order to understand Despair, one has to be able to understand the basic fundamentals behind it. That being, Hope. Hope is like the sun to the shadow Despair casts. They are the opposite side to the same sheet of paper, they are the same double edged sword, and more importantly: you can't have one without the other. In order to have Despair, you must have Hope, in order to have Hope, you must have something robbed from you, some incentive, some fear, some drive, something to keep that notion of "if I can ___, then I can _____" so, essentially, "if I can kill someone and not get caught, then I can leave". That is what Hope is, and the higher the Hope, the greater the fall. What makes Despair seem so gorgeous to Junko is probably the fact that it can make someone so happy and excited simply crushed and deteriorate in an essence of utter pity and self loathing, disbelief, denial and super despair. And in order to make it grow even better, we all have to realize the true nature of humanity, and how horrible and appalling it really is. Kill your own classmates? A thought would never come to mind. Promise not to kill anyone? Promise to become friends? Innocent intentions? Yet they try and blame it all on you after they do the deed.

Maybe it's this gruesome reality that we all have to live in, we all have to ignore, and have to deal with, the situations that we're forced into and we have to take and take and take and take and take, is what made her life filled with despair. Even though she's a being of Despair, she acts quite the opposite, exuberant and lively in comparison to the droll and alarming definition of the word she oh so worships.
And is much tired with the "ordinary", she's a girl who gets bored, and often switches up what she can in order to liven things up. She's a trickster, as well, who tries to deceive and lead others on for a greater. Because of this, we have to remember that behind this adorable face there's six more faces. And not only that, she kind of has the tendency to switch things up and kinda barrel roll out of the plan she made, and kind of does whatever she really wants because her tolerance for these kinds of this is generally low. Ahem, anyway, these six more faces that one may almost confuse for some sort of wacky, odd split personality!

But in all reality, Junko merely switches between these "faces" because of the fact that she dislikes the feeling and idea of getting bored. And as a result, blasted these personas to the world whenever she felt like it. It's presumed she used to do this frequently considering the fact that she used to get questioned a lot about it (not to mention, she hates answering questions she's answered before). While they are just facades she uses, they can be considered as extensions of her personality.
THE ALOOF TYPE )
The first of the seven faces Junko Enoshima has is of a cool and collected girl, who doesn't hold any fear or.. well, remorse for anything she might say. Behind the palm that conceals her face, she has a rather devious smile in place. An arm encircles her waist, and she looks quite confident in anything she says, or is getting ready to say. Her voice definitely reflects the body language she's giving off, as she sounds as calm and experienced as she looks. Her usual, wide and gorgeous eyes are narrowed to a fault, making them emit a naturally fierce tint that compliments her overall, almost otherworldly aura. The way she speaks is with maturity, and she almost leads others on to think she's more wise than her years would hold.

THE BURIKKO TYPE )
The second act is of the typical burikko. Which is, by definition, a woman who feigns cute, childish behavior for the sake of attention. And Junko's version of this archetype is very similar, down to the very few words that define it. Junko's hair ridiculously smooths out (like butter, almost!) rather than her wild and tussled locks, and her movements scream the very opposite of masculinity. That being, femininity, and lots of it. Her eyes quite literally sparkle, and are more widened than they usually are. When she speaks, instead of the matured voice she normally has, it's almost like that of a kid, nasally and high pitched for the extra amount of cute. She naturally feigns innocence, and almost mockingly (for shame!) glimmers with adorable superiority!

( THE QUEEN TYPE )
The third is of a woman who is the best, the greatest, and the almighty singular ruler of our time-- a Queen! Just as the word dictates, Junko acts upon her natural sense of superiority and dons a literal crown and strikes her hands on her hips. With chest outward and posture more than proper, she acts like she can conquer the world with just her beautiful finger, and that people should respect her (as filthy peasants should, it's only natural). She even has the typical "Ho-oh!" laugh to accompany this face, but more importantly, if she says something she defines as the ultimate truth, then she will stand by it no matter what! And even if it's a lie, she'll stand by it no matter what! With the ideal of a perfect kingdom, and one that should be ruled under her name, Enoshima will run over whoever she has to in order to attain it. She has no qualms on picking on or ridiculing others with this face (but she normally never does mind), either, and is more blunt than ever.

( THE MEGANE TYPE
)
The fourth is of a proper, business like and just about (even more perfect) woman who sports a pair of glasses she seems to pull out of no where on the bridge of her nose. Along with a very tight and perfectly aligned posture, Junko can be seen normally adjusting those glasses with a clipboard resting against her side-- pen included. While her pigtails may be gone, they are replaced with a sole ponytail, a finely combed one at that. She normally speaks with articulacy and a speed that only a machine could match. She shows her mass vocabulary and bluntness, with a hint of informality, if given the chance to shine. Even if her words may be a bit mocking, or overbearingly true, whenever she makes comparisons, she speaks the hard truth and nothing but the truth along with the observations to go with it.

THE YANKEE TYPE )
The fifth is of a yankee girl!!! Who's blunt with what she says and doesn't sugarcoat anything for anyone!! Her hair is completely brutish, brazen, and rugged, extending in all kinds of directions in a wild kind of way.  Her brows are, if always, furrowed and the way she sticks out her tongue as she speaks definitely shows her lack of any real respect for any authority-- or anyone. With her arms hovering over her chest and making the rockin' gestures she knows, she manages to be on the offense while shielding herself. She speaks with an extremely thick yankee accent to accompany her disreputable appearance. That isn't all, she speaks with a rather violent mindset and there isn't exactly a mute button when it comes to this face.. after hearing how loud her yelling can get, and colorful her language can get you'll silently wish there was one.

( THE GLOOMY TYPE )
The sixth is of a girl who's always glum, low and might as well be a mix of passive and despair . Her usually perk pigtails are now drooped, mushrooms growing atop her head (as a savvy reference to a certain film!) and her expression downcast, blue tinted, and in tears as she holds her golden strands in a completely different stance than her usual confident self is in- which is akin to a rather depressed individual, showing the vulnerability she casts on her face. When this act is present, she talks with deliberate pauses between her words to emphasize her depression, trailing off in utter defeat and self pity, questioning things as if expressing, "Why me?"

( THE MONOBEAR TYPE )
The final, and let's not forget the best, face of them all is the one that helped guide the students through their time at Hope's Peak Academy. Monobear, which is a bear that is both black and white, split down the very middle, with half a monstrous grin donned on his face. This face is a direct copy off of him, even though Junko is technically Monobear. Whenever she's activating this one, she holds up a little plush replica of Monobear (this time, not animatronic) in front of her face, and speaks in the same manner he does save for the fact the voice sounds more feminine than Monobear's usual one. She speaks in a rather condescending manner, and more than often makes references to outside media and has the tendency to address others as "bastard" or "you bastards!", one of the two. Devious and firm, there's no questioning what she'll really say to get her point across or to remind you that, hey, you can't be this stupid and slow!
One thing that all these personas have in common is that she literally uses the word "despair" every other word, just about once in each sentence, as a verb, as a adjective, acronym, antonym, synonym, praise, chastise- everything. Here is where she unleashes her curiosity, choosing to ask and ask and make it a mutual debate practically. These "faces" are also plays on the common archetype personalities! Adding onto her constant quirk of diving into genres and stereotypes. While she may have all these faces, she does have.. a vague kind of default personality. And let me get to explaining this! While Junko rotates through her personalities like anyone would flip through the pages of a book, it's easy to say that this doesn't exclude what she might first present herself as. Even if for a few moments, you can tell that confidence she carries is one hundred percent genuine, and the nastiness and sense of angelic despair that follow are included.

The earlier qualities described above are no exception here, as they play the defining role behind her personalities. Her original, and it's of a typically charismatic and cocky girl who says what's on her mind and hardly, if ever, sugarcoats anything. She has the small tendency to blabber, the gift of gab, mommy always said! And because of her stubborn trait, once she starts, you won't be able to stop her-- or else. She's the ultimate authority, and if she's presenting herself to you, then it must be super duper important! Just as important as Gucci and Louis! Her language can go from crude, to Spanish, to Italian, to German in mere moments! Half the time, it's mostly to confuse others, to catch them off guard, to make their answers quicker. And being the head strong girl she is, if she asks it a certain way, she wants it that way, no exceptions. And being the impatient girl she is, if she doesn't get it fast, she'll need to hand out incentive. That, either by threat or violence-- in a very cute manner.

Expanding on the above mentioned lack of sympathy and how it plays on murder, Junko has no real qualms on it. When she donned the mask and dared to assault Naegi while he lay in bed, sick, and when she fearlessly (lacking any real guilt) hung an old man when he wasn't looking. She murdered him, and when she admits it outright, there's no tears or sadness, or worry or despair, or agony or horror at what she had done-- she felt more grossed out at the fact he peed and it got on her skirt than his death. To say that she has little regard for humanity is an understatement.. no regard sounds more appropriate. She's a stickler for rules, as well breaking them, and isn't above punishments (this plays a prominent role in both DR and SDR2) for those naughty enough to go against them. This doesn't go against herself, either, as demonstrated when she (with a smile, mind you) idly put the urine soaked notebook of Otonashi's in between her breasts as punishment for running off to clean said skirt with said pee on it. While she doesn't mind getting dirty, it's all to a huge extent on how much "dirty" it is.

Underneath all that beauty and complexity and layers, you have a somewhat normal girl with above the norm' aspirations.

Abilities/Powers:
One thing we can really note about Junko is that she's the brains out of the Despair Sisters. While Mukuro is the brawn's, Junko is the genius who works out the finer details of what's proposed to her. Hijacking the television signals to broadcast the inner workings of the school, creating an intricate crime that seemed a bit too good to be true, let's not forget the executions she more than likely had to deal with before putting them to use, since she was known for her awfully ironic ways of giving these criminals their punishment. It's safe to assume that no matter the situation her intellect shines through every matter, and she uses it to her advantage every moment she can.

Including that, Enoshima holds the title of Super High School Level Fashion Girl, being incredibly known throughout the world for her modelling on top magazines and creating a sensation across the nation with her new, outlandish looks. After the death of her sister, she is also Super High School Level Despair. Now being the only holder of the title, it proves her miraculous dedication to the word and how determined she is to spread it. Adding onto that, she seems to be incredibly formidable, considering the fact that as Despair and having lived nothing but a Despair filled life, Junko sees herself as a Superwoman who can do literally anything. Mostly because the "shackles" preventing her had been freed, thus allowing her to always go at her max! To where the limits of reality can't even stop her efforts.

As an example, because of this, Enoshima went through over five executions of gruesome and ridiculous proportions, and managed perfectly fine until she got sent to "Detention". It is also known that as Super High School Level Despair that when others are around her for too long, they can be drawn into her despair and even be driven to suicide if exposed to her for prolonged amounts of time.

Items/Weapons: Junko will be arriving with her plush (life sized) Monobear, her pair of glasses, and crown, respectively.

Sample Entry: Here's a link to a post over at another game!
Sample Entry Two:
Junko Enoshima is a girl who holds many secrets. Always keeping herself guarded, she doesn't hide behind "faces". It's presumptuous to think that those are shields..  too predictable, too boring, too cliche, too normal. But there was nothing normal, nothing boring, nothing cliche, about the feeling that is "despair". With her head landing on her palm, she concludes it's the despair of the typical ("Normalcy," she sighs with distaste) that strikes her.

.. So, why is this loser trying to pick her up?

She initially arrived here with bigger plans in mind, but even this modest model got the lower end of the deal when she fell prey to a carnivorous man. Light stubble, worn out shirt (how did he even get in? Ugh!), smells strongly of alcohol-- she's offended, and it shows by the way her face slowly scrunches in distaste. When she doesn't want to be bothered, it's obvious, but even after sending hints it still doesn't dawn on the male. She turns to face him, curling her thick and styled hair with her finger, tilting her head slightly to accentuate her features. She felt bile, maybe she was exaggerating, lightly in her mouth as the other took the bait easily. There simply wasn't a challenge here! "You think I'm playing hard to get? As embarrassing as that sounds, I don't stick with cliches.. it's more expressive to come up with your own routes, don't you think?" it isn't hard to even coax his number (probably his mom's) on a napkin.

Having been playing the bartender for the evening at the bar, Junko takes out various brands of alcohol before she settles on two. A large glass, peppermint, and a lighter are present. He's gleefully thinking she's going to put on a show for him-- and in a matter of precise seconds, she's nearly finished with the beverage and coats the top with rum. Oh? There's his number? She smiles sweetly as she drops it in the drink and lets the other soak in the sight of the paper being discarded. "Y'know, I'm super duper picky with my guys, but that's fuckin' implying that they get through the outer layer." the lighter flickers and immediately burns, setting the very top of the drink aflame along with the digits. "I see someone who wants it, though, he looks like a total match." she whispers as she slides the drink to the burly biker who catches it with his hands as he blows out the flames.

His face contorts from happiness to confusion and eventually embarrassment, burning with despair as her words pierce his ears. She laughs, deliberately, possibly louder when the biker who took the drink spit it out and rushed to the bathroom.

"Look, even your number is making his stomach upset, too!"

Lies, lies.. That's simply with the help of laxatives, but it's not like he even saw her sneak them in anyway. With the despair now established, introductions can be made (even if she undoubtedly broke his heart and crushed his self esteem).

"I'm Junko Enoshima, just a model in a professional world! I'm the boss of other things too, but it's T-O-P S-E-C-R-E-T!"
