We're so glad you're thinking of joining us in Haven, where we are all safe.

In order to apply for a canon character, please fill out the information below and post it in a comment in this entry. For an OC, please apply using the OC information. Please do not link to applications, all applications must be posted here. Please do not delete your applications; if you do not want it to be seen, you can request for it to be screened after a decision is made.

You may apply for two characters every two weeks, to a total of six characters. Only two of these may be from the same canon, and they cannot be too familiar with one another. Please make sure to mark the header of your comment(s) with RESERVED or NOT RESERVED, as well as the character name and canon. App challenges are not allowed currently.

Try to remember spelling and grammar are important, and in app length quality and not quantity is what matters. If you wish to request a specific apartment, please do so in the relevant part of the application. All parts of the application must be your own work, plagiarism will not be tolerated, though you are welcome to reuse your own old applications.

If you are asked for revisions, please don't panic! It doesn't mean the mods don't like you, only that we probably need more information before making a decision. If you are asked for revisions, you will have one week to supply them.

Every attempt will be made to place a character in their chosen apartments, though this may not always be possible depending on the slots available.

Applications are open constantly, but are only processed every other Friday at 7PM EST. The Saturday following acceptance, an IC mingle log will be posted for characters to be introduced to the game.

We now have a test drive community at haventest which is continuously open. Posts there may be used in lieu of a sample in the application. You may also link posts, logs, or threads from other games and memes in lieu of samples, though we ask that they be no more than one year old.

Abilities/Powers:

As a Squad Leader and a member of Scouting Legion, it is clear that Hange has a talent for combat. She is skilled in both aerial and ground combat with the help of the Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear. Due to her high rank, it is quite clear that she has a bit of training under her belt. Not only that she is strong physically, she is also strong mentally, showcasing her intelligent due to her studies with the titans and her knack as a field tactician. In the later chapters she is seen among the wounded; however she is able to move and predict where their current enemies were heading despite of her injuries.

“This won’t do… “

The fog outside was thicker than she had expected, it was damp and the heat in the air was clouding up her second pair of eyes and unfortunately her judgment. How could she work under these conditions when she couldn’t see nearly two inches in front of her? How could she find out where she was? This place was anything but familiar, even when the weather was clear. This wasn’t her world, a world where she grew up in and learnt to live behind fifty meter walls made of concrete and other things she'd rather not linger on about.

She thought of the possibility that she might be in some isolated location somewhere outside of the walls, but the culture of this place was anything that matched her own. It was like she was living in a completely different world. It was odd. She couldn’t even find a sign to tell her exactly where she was.

Not only that, this place, this town was practically a ghost town. There wasn’t any sign of any breathing life besides the green grass that was beneath her two feet. Raising a hand up, she removes her goggle-like spectacles from her eyes and place them at the top of her forehead to get a better look around now that her glasses became anything but useful to her.

“No people, no sign with any written words…? What kind of place is this?”

At least there wasn’t any sign of giant-size footprints, so at least she wherever she was; she was safe for the time being. It was probably best to retreat for now and return back to that building like structure where she found herself. Perhaps she’ll bump into someone back there. There were six other beds in her room after all. But before she could turn back in the opposite direction in which she came from, she heard something.

A scream.

She couldn’t ignore something like that. So with that, Hange hands quickly reach at the handle of her blades.
